I can imagine no universe in which a reboot of Greatest American Hero will be anything other than terribad.

Just stop, Hollywood. Stop. Don't reboot anything, don't remake anything, don't re-imagine anything.

Just come up with something new, and make us want to watch it by making it actually entertaining. Instead of taking the easy way out and trusting that 30-40 something year olds will watch whatever gak you evacuate from your bowels just because you slapped the name of something from the 1980s on it, without bothering to understand why the thing from the 80s was popular.

Many shows that I found entertainng as a child turned out to be filled with pedophiles, so I doubt we'll see EVERYTHING from the 80's get rebooted...

BBC mostly, with a sprinkle of ITV.

Pretty sure the HSM wasn't watching this 'first run' or anything like that, as that was some 32 years ago.

Anyway, at least the special effects will be better this time around!

I also didnt watch TNG first run, but I loved it. Yes young people can like old shows.

Makes me wonder what a modern child would think of the "Clarence Thomas" arc on Designing Women. I can't think of any show from that era more dated...except maybe Murphy Brown.

Would Alex Keaton from Family Ties be a liberal by today's standards?
