In case people were wondering, you shall still be able to order normally the available Tomb Kings models from your FLGS next week. At least they're still present on the most recent order forms.
I remind you thought that the available range is composed of the following massive amount of references: Battalion, Warriors, Snake Riders and Sphinx. Everything else is Web Exclusive now.

In all of my correspondence with GW reps, the "How would you rate my reply" normally - as in, in reality - appears after the sig of the cust svc person (as it's appended by GW's mailservers, whereas the sig is appended by the mail program). Text -> signature -> rating.
The email is in exactly the same format as one I recieved couple of days ago regarding the chaos warrior upgrade weapons.Same guy as well,Mathew.
Weird, none of mine have the rating before the sig. So I could stand corrected.

@neltraper - You have clearly not been following the conversation. Tomb kings are NOT in there - no pictures of tomb kings models, no mention of tomb kings in the subfaction descriptions. The entire book has only 35 war scrolls, which is 4 LESS than the existing vamp counts compendium. Six less when you consider that the Zombie Dragon and Terrorgheist are getting two scrolls each (separating the 'ridden' and 'unridden' options).
The vamp count compendium has 6 old resin characters, so It shouldn't be too hard to guess what's missing, though I give even odds on Krell being in there (as a generic character) instead of the 'vampire on abyssal terror', which currently lacks a model on GW's webstore.
That doesn't leave room for anything from the Tomb Kings line at all (no mummies, liches, chariots, statues, catapults, caskets, snake things, etc.), nor does it leave room for anything new, and there doesn't look to be anything new for undead on the horizon either, rumor wise.
And only one formation (from the picture a pile of skittles and wights, pretty redundant with the skittle horde), which is only half the number the vamp count compendium had on its own. Not even 1 per subfaction. They couldn't even be bothered to give us new rules that didn't need new models.
The GAoD may be worth a look for the fluff, if you're curious what Nagash is up to in AoS, but other then that, it doesn't seem to deliver anything at all mechanically that you didn't already have from the Vamp Compendium. Far from grand. And by dropping fully half of already-the-smallest of the big 4 factions, it can hardly even be said to be an alliance.
Might as well have rolled Undead in with Orcs and Ogres in the 'miscellaneous' camp.

Well I didn't believe it but just saw every tomb king unit has the hourglass on gw's us store page. Nothing has been moved to the last chance to buy section, but they have been marked for doom, which means they will indeed be there soon.
Damn... well time to pick up the pricier boxes I had my eye on for the past few years.
I am very surprised, with nagash's involvement, skeleton armies, etc, very surprised they killed the tk.

I think "last chance to buy" means "please buy these old sprues so we can make room for new ones and rerelease them in a couple years and pretend the old ones never existed so you'll buy the new ones that will cost 3x more"

GW did explain what 'Last Chance to Buy' means (see my link above):
So to make it easier to find the miniatures you are looking for, we’ve tucked the Factions underneath each of the Grand Alliances, and added an extra section called Last Chance to Buy. This section is where we will put products when we know we won’t be getting any more in stock on the webstore - when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Yup, it was on their site and in their app. If you see the red hourglass, it means production has ceased forever. Whatever is out there will be sold, and once it's gone, it's gone forever. The hellcannon, throgg, etc, and a 40k or warboss have been retired already.
I am surprised they are retiring large plastic kits, but to keep the tooling, molds, product in the warhouse, etc, does cost a company alot of money. That's why many companies do away with the old to make room for new (or just plain cut down on stock numbers to save money).
Looks like the tomb kings are survived by nagash, the mortar ch dude, the morghasts, and skeleton warriors (that do look better than the tomb king ones). Not very Egyptian themed, but still an army of bones and magic!!
Since seeing their site I bough a bone giant, casket of souls, tomb guard, skeleton warriors, skeleton horsemen, a warsphynx, a metal scorpion, and the remainer of the characters I was missing... thank god for tax returns!

I'd lean towards that interpretation as well but a valid interpretation would be that the entire TK range will be retired. (it might help if we knew what the question were)
That's a valid interpretation...if you're not familiar with the precedent of what we've seen with the Last Chance to Buy section so far.

The surviving skeleton warriors are medieval themed and not related to the Tomb Kings.

Yet we have not had the kits that comprise their boxed sets of Shadow Force Solaq, Infiltration Cadre Burning Dawn, Skaven, and Beastmen placed into "Last Chance to Buy".
"Last Chance to Buy" is still new. We can't say for certain that it means "production has ceased forever" or if it's the case of what many people have been figuring out via their GW shops when products get recalled for reboxings.

I did actually quote. That's what those quotation marks mean. Sure, I could have quoted with a link but I felt it was unnecessary since it was just a few pages ago.
In what way is that sniping anyway?

The fact that it was "just a few pages ago" and yet you deciding you needed to bring it up again in an antagonistic manner.
Ok, I'm an antagonist then I suppose. Not sure what the type of quotation has to do with anything though.
I wanted to point out that you're not consistent in your argument if you on one hand claim that the 'last chance' section is too new an institution to draw any conclusion, but then in the very same thread draws conclusions from it.

I'd say I'm pretty damn consistent because I specifically stated in my reply to you initially that my stance was based upon the precedent set so far.

Nope that's because those 40 sets were limited edition boxes that made for a discounted price for the conglomeration of kits. Gw said gone means gone forever. They have said this in the past, and it always meant what they said.
Most of the kits are large plastic mass produced kits, so they should be available worldwide for some time at your flgs, even after they are gone online.
If you don't believe gw, send them an email and they will tell you all sets in last chance to buy will never be PRODUCED again. Those 40k sets are unique in that they were a limited production product. If you want the scenario booklet, or the box, or the combined units at a discount price, they will soon be gone forever. You can still buy stern guard in their own box set, that is why that set is not in the last chance area. Simple as that

I've sent them emails and called them both. And in both instances, they've been very specific that this does not mean that the item will "never be PRODUCED again". They've said this particular boxed set or blister format will "not be available again".
"Last Chance to Buy" is something that GW shops have had as a rack for each item type/range that they sell for over a year now. Chaos Warriors, Knights, Warshrines, etc were on "Last Chance to Buy" for WEEKS prior to them being recalled.
Did they stop making those items?

Yep. They're also divided up into their new factions in the webstore and are presented with their individual warscrolls.
