I'm worried. Only 1 of my 3 characters has plot armor.

Just a heads up.

Are your Tau open to negotiations?

And kill off one more character so that Khorne will be pleased with the slaughter

We'll see: we're open to any sort of offer at this point. Better be worth it though - I wouldn't like to be stuck in a well-defended Tau compound.

Yup, kill counter is now at 8. You monster.

Lol, I'll think of an offer. It'll be good. BFTBG

Hey guys, so im working on that introduction I mentioned and i just wanted to run a concept by you. So my marines are from a world called Aspen and with the theme of my chapter being hounds i thought i'd add well some hounds. I was thinking of calling them aspenian hounds and would be roughly the size of a attack bike, they would not be strong enough to be used as calvary but i thought they could be used to assist scout squads or flanking the enemy. So what do you think ? Am i stepping on the space wolves toes with this ? Or should i just write away like a madman ?

Personally I like the idea of fighting alongside big dogs more than marines mounting battle Corgies. But it's your guys if they want to storm the battle field atop Chihuahuas who am I to say no

Im the same chazz not a fan of the calvary idea meself

I'm thinking of something like Dragon Age, where you could have a Mabari War Hound as a companion (at least in the first one you could). Basically dogs who are bred for size and strength, and are therefore vicious in combat.

And just to clarify

I chose space wolves as they had room for more fun, more life than Templers. Not because they have every special ferasian snow flake ever and plot armour that could deflect the planet killer.

Basicly, I wanted marines who had more, more about them than just remorseless, perfect killing machines.

The line "Kageros will be sitting in a lawn chair, sipping coffee while everyone else fights". Your cron won't get the peace and quiet he expects when his ally is a Khornate daemon prince.

Oh, OH, that. (I feel like a Plague Marine) That was a joke, don't worry, he'll be kicking some arse. There should be an epic scene were Kageros, Grulahk, and Archarus are all fighting together (Probably not the best idea, but neither was infiltrating a SW/IK camp)

I know you were joking, I was just throwing in Archarus' opinion of it since he is currently unavailable to do so. Also, I'm waiting for a scene of Nox stabbing him in the back right before they would stand triumphant, and them Gadnuk back stabs Nox, and let's the infighting WAAAAGH be a diversion for his Gutrippas' escape.

Okay, at the point where the writing is at, I could post it in now, as a second part of three. Alternatively, I could wait, finish it all, and post it as the second part of two. Whichever you prefer.

Only a few factions have been relegated from doing anything, and even then, I could write them back in the final section. If you asked for it, and want your dudes to have more screen time, I can negotiate that with you. Of course, bear in mind that I'm working these off of the rolls you gave me, so your success will depend largely on that.

So, verdict? Want an update now, and get the third and last chunk seperately; or wait and get it all in one big tasty go?

I'd love to read it now, that way we can slake our thirst and let others get writ in if they want, or other stuff. But I don't want to rush things for anyone.

For me, i'd love to read it, but if others want to wait I'm also fine with that.

I shall put my vote towards doing the three part special and posting that bit you have now. Otherwise, if everyone else wants it all at once, I can wait.

Just bear that some factions have yet to appear in the finale yet, or make their mark on things, but will be coming in shortly! (Hint hint, Eldar, Remnants and Iron Warriors: I know you're there. )

Fantastic work Smudge. I assume I rolled poorly for my Histans, since they had to ram a necron ship, and also because of the lack of kills on their part. They did get quite a few mentions in general though, which was cool.

Fun read, but I am curious as to how the sudden willingness to do some friendly fire. I know I made it clear my guys don't really like Marines, but not to the point of risking that much during the final assault, then there's also the fact that they never really had any contacts with either sides of Crusade Command.
