Cause whatever was there was jamming the voxes. Which was why Ceasar and the rest of the squad didn't know what the feth was happening. So, they had to walk back to your base to call Iodius and tell him the bad news.
This also means that Iodius is going to be pissed off at the Crusade meeting, so don't be surprised if he starts a punch-on over a small matter.
P.S. Iodius suspects chaos.

My Guard don't really even know who's here anyway. They just know that Imperials are already on the planet and its moons, the Tillers are being a nuisance, same with orks, and that there may or may not be a chaos uprising.

I guess I should clarify that I'm not dumping my Knights entirely, they're just going to have smaller blurbs that go along with my Guard and Eldar. They'll mostly be attached to other Imperial forces helping out, but occasionally I'll write something up for them myself.
