Sure, most of us have a few named characters to oversee the army and provide us with a good cast to write with

Okay I will work on my spare time, Battalion and Company Commanders. And maybe a Command Squad of Advisors.

It's like how I could have the following characters, some of which are "leaders" who I can use to lead various forces, others are just characters I can write with

Colonel James Taylor
Captain Lawrence Green
Corporal Eve
Sergeant Nicholi

Etc..

You can have as many characters as you desire, but I'd keep the number of "leaders" down

Yeah, my Necrons had a Overlord, Cryptek, and Lord.

But Ultarn was talking smack, he was then properly smighted.

My kroot have Ta'lok as the leader, and he has his own personal pack he will hunt with when he can, which consists of Grulkin, Meenos, Seri, Mal'caor (Ta'lok's kroothound), Lo'kai, and Kai'lo. I also have a council of Kroot Shapers working for BC, and a side character named Voshia, who shows up occasionally.

My orks have Gorgrim BadToof, Glotzinga da Dok, Grizby da grot, Killrod da Deffdread, Gorehound (formerly a feral warboss), and now Jeramin, if I decide to keep him around. He'd mainly be around to make my orks seem more evil, and tyrannic, at least from a humie'z perspective. After all, we all know dat da orks are da best, an' Gorgrim has nevah done anyfing wrong. Got it, ya gitz?

Jeramin is obviously a Xeno sympathizer. He will die alongside the rest of your Orks

He tried shooting one as it rampaged through his town and home, and got dragged off into slavery. I assure you, and your joking sarcasm, he is no sympathizer. And, if you're smart, you'd see him as a source of intelligence about the orks, not target practice.

No, I know how it works. You're fighting some orks, ok, that's normal. You see some human slaves, who know the inner workings of this WAAAAGH, have information on the layout of the place, and are more than willing to spill their guts to you for saving them. Plus, you're guardsmen, so you're likely to be more sympathetic to them, than someone like the Space Sharks, or Marines Malevolent. And there are cases of even SM saving slaves.

There's also many cases of slaves being blammed, as they are thought tainted by association with xenos. I was joking when I said I would shoot him, but it's also entirely likely that if he was found out to have served the Orks (willingly or not) that he would be killed

Depends on the attackers, and the scenario. I'd like to think your veteran ork hunting guardsmen would see an opportunity for easy information on the local big bad warboss, and take it. But hey, if you want to blow Jeramin's brains out, be my guest. Who knows, maybe he'll turn to chaos to have them save him, seeing as how the Imperium never bothered to do it.

Again. I wasn't saying I would. You are correct that my Guardsmen would probably not kill him. I was originally just joking, but thinking about it, if Chazz's lot found out about him....

That will probably be the grimdarkest writing of this crusade

they will probably make it one of their priorities to kill him off, finishing the job they started and all that,perhaps having his head on a spike to be hung outside Canis Caelum. Maybe they would use their battle barge to decapitate him

So, no progress has been made yet, as I am still waiting on TS with information on the Space Elevator :( Sorry for the delay.

Not delaying anything as i think blackjack is still writing his piece.

I'm waiting on roll results from TS before I can make any actual progress. I can hardly write about Kharne killing the gargant if it turns out he rolled a major defeat. Minor things have been done, but the meat of it relies on roll results.

Waiting on results for the roll against WK, but I should probably stop being lazy and go ahead and draft my next section

Do I need to roll?

I had assumed we all needed to send rolls for it. It wouldn't be very crusade-like to do major events without rolling, IMO. We had to roll for the hybrids, so I assumed we had to roll for the gargant.

Didn't you already send your rolls to TS?

If not, I suggest you do, then he'll get back to 2BJ with the results of the roll, and BJ can write it.
