Ooh, Primarch fight! It's on.

I'm not doing my scenic base though as I need to think what dead marines I want.

Looking forward to seeing Rowboat Girlyman done up properly. I've seen some that others have painted; he is probably the best looking one of the currently-released Primarchs. As I've said before, I'm waiting for them to do the Lion. If they do, I'll probably get one.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

Looking good so far guys.

You do realise I'm painting this one, so you may still be left waiting for one done properly!

Thats the Scyllax mostly done paintwise now - just need a few final highlights and some grime and the assembly; pin them to the nearly painted bases ad then attach their mechandrites. Should hopefully have them done by the end of the weeknd. And here's the mandatory pissawful wip shot!

The lighting setup change has worked wonders. Like the way the models are looking.

Here is my finished entry.

It´s called: In Ya Face!

What is more Up Close and / or personal, than beeing shot in the face by a Nob while he´s running up to the frontline?!

I tried some new painting techniques and colours plus a new setup for the pics I took. It´s getting better every month, I think. In about 250 years I might get to the level Januine and Co. are working at!

Good luck to all participants and again thanks to the great Paradigm for his monthly effort to let us take part in these competitions!

Cheers, K D

Kustomer D that's brilliant. Your painting style and standard is great, don't do yourself an injustice

So I said I would put something down for this. I'm also using them as an entry for Azazelx's A tale of umpteen gamers monthly challenge.

Proof

Mantic Orcs. Morax to be specific. We can either call the entire multibase a single model, or I can pick the five best removable ones to be the entry when the time comes.

This is the test model, the rest should look very similar once I get through them all.

Kustomer D, that dio is awesome! As for my entry, I've slowed way down lately, hoping to pick up the pace some soon. Maybe I can celebrate my birthday today with a little painting magic!

hahahaa - gotta love the spousal confusion - mine came home to find me scrubbing away at some FW models with a toothbrush - ' wish you were that gentle with the dishes' was the only comment I got!!

you used agrellan earth on the bases? Give 'em a light coat of watered down PVA - seals it and makes sure the cracked earth flakes dont chip off
