Overall this is making me pretty excited for Hassassins again. A HI with Holo 2, Haris for Govads, Haris and Duo for Asawira. I can't wait to see what else the Hassassins are getting.
I'd be fine with Qapu Khalki not getting much, they've got more options that any sectorials already.

Didn't Carlos say that was Holo 3 that could stack them and limited to Patroclus?

Combining H1 and H2 is new to HS-N3 and is part of H2.

Holo3 is specific to Patroclus, and removes the NFB trait so that his ODD still works.

The new ISS look great. Some of those guys needed an update. The only thing though is that all of the figures look massive. I don't want to start up the whole scale creep topic again, but these guys don't look like they will mix very well with the old figures.

It also looks like the starter is being changed. It appears to have lost the Hsien and the Wu Ming, but gained a Crane and a Zhanying.

For feth's sake how many times will I get some new minis only for a much better replacement to appear just after!

To be honest the Celestial Guard (hacker exluded) were starting to look a little dated compared to some of the other line troopers out there, have to say those look absolutely awesome even from the show/camera phone pic.

To be fair Barzam I don't think there had been a scale-creep or ragefist post this page yet so you're entitled to make that comment, just to keep things ticking over

HI looks like a Crane with a Spitfire (the cloak comes from the waist on the crane, while it is a full coat on the Hsien)
Sword chap with the shotgun and sword looks like a Pheasant

No idea who has the missile launcher - Eagle agent? (Zhangying)

The colours look really good. I kind of want to repaint my own YJ now.

The CG kind of give me a 'stormtrooper' vibe with their helmets.

The Crane looks amazing. Both Cranes (existing one and this coming one) look super cool.

I doubt the dragon lady will come in the starter box, I think she's just there because she's new.

Now I will forgive all this heretical talk about the other lesser factions - but what about the one true faction military orders. Has there been any other leeks besides he black Friars - some rule changes perhaps?

Pheasant: Red fury profile with haris option, stun grenades or madtraps for combi/emitter profile, marskmanship LX for sniper, loss of mono CCW all around, all profiles have CoC except sniper and hacker. Also fireteam duo and free agent.

Yan Huo profile with dual ML and TinBot-C that gives it Neurocinetics; 56pts 2swc.

Raiden HRL gains antipersonel mines and minelayer. 21pts 1.5swc (from FB again)

Oh and O Yoroi has MA lv1.

So looks like the rumor that Azra'il were going to lose linkable was true, and they didn't even get Duo to replace it. Fueurbach supposedly has a B1 EXP profile now and a boost at the 16-32 range to +3. Hafzas are limited to only two in a link or one in a haris link and can't join merc links which is disappointing. They do gain an HRL profile though. Sekban add duo to their list of fireteam options and gain +1 BS, lose -1 CC. Druze can take a full link of 5 to replace the lack of Hafza option.

Mutt's are reportedly getting smoke, which makes them an insane tool box unit if true!
I can see it as a Sectoral penalty given how much they've added to link options.

Everything is straight from the book except the change in Fueurbach. I haven't seen concrete confirmation on that yet.

After what Carlos was saying i was expecting something more... overwhelmingly powerful, like almost Avatarish.

Still, the price very good and it looks like it'll be super strong at range. Very obvious issues at close range though.

Expected. QK has so many linkable units, they wanted Azra'il to be more powerful solo models. Any changes to their profile at all?

This would go a fair way to making the gun better, and it's long been said the problem with the Fauerback Azra'il is the Fauerbach. Better +3 band and a B1 EXP shot for ARO would give it a role over the AP HMG. Depends on points costs though.

Never was a fan of Hafza or the way you could stuff links full of them. A cap of two makes sense. A HRL profile is a nice way of inserting some impressive firepower in a link like Odalisques.

Awesome. Big fan. They're not a unit you aim to get into CC, they're a shoting unit. Dropping CC and boosting BS is a big improvment. Duo is a nice option as well.

All Muyibs have Number 2. You'll never break a Muyib link.

Barids have access to Hacking Device, Assault Hacking Device and Killer Hacking Device.

Those ISS guys are awesome. Yu Jing really needed some love.

No profile changes except fueurbach loses xvisor and drops to 39/1.5
Honestly I'm having a hard time justifying them now over janissaries. +1 armour doesn't really make up for being larger, slower, and unlinkable. Except for maybe the rare occasion when you want to shoot over a s2 obstacle. I love the models though so they'll keep finding a place on my table.

I'm thinking a duo with a doc and an HRL. Go for objectives and keep people away. If they do get close both the doc and the hrl have chain colts.

I've been holding off purchasing YJ light infantry in the hopes that they would make some new models this year, and these are perfect.

There's a lot of echoes of the new Tiger's armour, which is perfect; the belly armour, the slightly baggy camo on the legs... I really like the simple helmets too. I never liked the "loincloths" that the CG sported. These have a much more functional, modern paramiltary feel, almost like a SWAT team.

If y'all will excuse me, I'll be in my bunk...

So, something that just jumped out at me, Kaplan and Druze are no longer mercs. So you can still take Hafza with them. They're both listed in the Haqq part of the new book and under the QK army listing they are not listed as merc units.
