Attacking through a repeater will be very dangerous against a powerful hacker force though, as every hacker they have gets an ARO.

Against something like vanilla Nomads with lots of hackers you'd be better off with your infiltrating killer hacker man getting close to every hacker individually rather than try to take on the whole network through a repater IMO.

A Haris of ORCS (odd phrase that) would be useful, I suspect. But individually, the ORC is competing with the Montesa and the Guarda-- both outstanding units. With so many other changes though, making any sort of informed opinion at the moment is nigh impossible.

With ORCs being confirmed as being added to AC and Neoterra, does that mean that they most likely won't be part of Svalarheima as well?

Surprised we aren't getting more book leaks given a few hundred people presumably just bought them at Adepticon.

Any info from the presentation Carlos did, or was it just orange model renders?

Most of the faction forums on the official boards have threads with all the changes broken down.

I wouldn't be surprised if ORCs became ubiquitious HI that appeared in all the sectorals.

We'll see more info from people with the book when they get home from the tournament and have time to read it. Adepticon just ended.

There wasn't really new info apart from the new models and releases, the rest of the info had been covered in the BoW infinity week videos.

It would not surprise me to see ORC as being part of every PanOceanian sectorial. The question would be, who will get them as Fireteam: Core.

On the other hand, I'm not sure I think the ISS are actual improvements over the older models... well, I mean they certainly are in one sense! The detail is there from a technical standpoint but they're missing a certain charm and character that drew me to Infinity in the first place.

Not to say that they aren't absolutely gorgeous anyway, still. Corvus Belli have set the bar so high, I feel spoilt sometimes!

Really looking forward to the new book, not sure who I'm going to pre-order with but probably go with Elementgames. Cheers for the info and pics Kanluwen!

Dang. The IS are looking fantastic.

They are lacking a certain "wow" factor, which for me is probably down to them not being huge improvements over the originals, but only given that IS have always looked fantastic.

That and the uniform colour scheme... I do like the new muted colours, and I do like the attempt to tie the different units all together, but that does by its very nature make them stand out a little less. Maybe I'll add a dash more vibrancy and colour-coding to mine, but everyone has their own preferences.

Nitpicking aside, super pleased with them. Will be picking up a box of new-fangled IS in good time.

The only one I don't think is an improvement is the Pheasent. The pose of the last one was awesome and this one is a little lacklustre in comparison, but not bad by any means.

Do we have all the revised sectorial army lists yet?

I'm anxious to see which existing units are being added into lists, like the ORCs on Acontecimento.

I'd like to see if any of the many vanilla only Haqq units are finding a new home with an existing sectorial.

Honestly, so far it looks like it's just the ORCs thing and Wardrivers being added to the Ariadnan Sectorials.

I'd say Drakios, Teucer and Scyllah going in ASA now would be worth a mention Also note how NCA ORCs just get Haris, but ASA ORCs get not just Haris but Duo as well.

I don't remember IS or JSA getting any new cross-over units, just the Kanren, Shikami and delicious new link options.

I posted a readable sectorial list for ASA here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/686083.page#8565484 AIf anyone else has readable lists for other sectorial, post them in that thread, and really, any other useful new information. That way, we have a nice repository to refer to until HS releases to the rest of us. HS rules &C are legal as of 5 to 8 May so We should see everything in some form ( in the Army builder for example) at that point.

I get the impression a fair number of existing Haqq uunits are slated for the upcoming Khanate ( like the Hunzakuts) or Caliphate (like the Tuareg or Khawarij) sectorials.

I agree, the original pheasant is still a cracker. Those new Celestial Guard look awesome though, I wonder if they will now do a special weapons pack (Inc. Kuang shi controller etc)

I had been thinking of getting some Combined Army, but I'm glad I hadn't yet since that Contact Force sounds like it should be a good deal.

I did my digging on 4chan.

Interesting things I noticed for my favorite factions (Nomads & Yu Jing):

Senor massacre can link up with Jaguars in core or haris
Wildcats can form haris

Rev healers can join other reverend haris or core teams (that's probably not new)

All kinds of combinations can be made with the 3 types of imperial agents and hsien, celestial guard, bao, wu Ming.
Celestial guard with Kuang shi controller can join Kuang shi naturally.

Kempetai can join keisotsu
1-2 Domaru or neko can join haramaki core

Nothing really earth shattering, pretty logical stuff.
Asawira with Muyibs is still the coolest teamup I've seen
