At the store today I heard that Ariadna is also getting TAG's, verrrrry low-tech ones at that. Yay if true!

Kinda/sorta?

For the duration of the "Tagline" bit, we get Scarface and Cordelia.
Whenever it happens, USAriadna has the "10th Heavy Rangers Battalion" aka "Blackjacks".
Blackjacks are Silhouette 5(a step below the mini/light TAGs like Geckos and Uhlans) with a special rule actually called "Lo-Tech" that makes it so when they lose a Wound they get converted into a "Battle-Ravaged" profile.

Unfortunately the Blackjacks are only HIs...
Also the FRRM sectorial has regular access to the Anaconda TAG.

Caledonia also has access to the Anaconda. I think this was a fairly recent addition to the sectorial list.

It's for Tagline.

We don't know yet whether or not these are permanent. FRRM is the only Ariadna bit with permanent access to a TAG in the form of the Anaconda.

New (redesigned) Hexa, Swiss or Order Sergeant?

Fingers crossed it's the Locust though.

Looks like we know what it is.

It seems to be the promo model for the Infinity Manga.

Yeah, well they shouldn't have been.

We haven't gotten a dossier for the Locust and NCA is purportedly "done" for the time being. They're doing Shock Army next.

Since the shown MSR is not panoceanian (it's actually from aleph) but the armour is, we could easily use that miniature as a Locust with e.g. Marksman Rifle...
Overall he has quite a resemlance to a Space Marine Scout

Eh.

Likely, for all intents and purposes, he is a "Locust" or a "Hexa" since he's a character tied to the forthcoming comic. He's apparently ex-Inner Hexahedron, so he definitely has the right "connections" to be a Locust from the background.

It will remain to be seen whether or not he'll get a general release later, but I would not be surprised to see such a thing nor would I be surprised to see rules for him.

The galaxy is littered with the single-planet graveyards of civilisations which made the economically sensible decision not to explore space.

They are.

Once again, it's a character from the forthcoming comic. We know said character(name is "Knauf" apparently) is PanO in deep cover/ex-PanO intelligence.

That pseudo-Roman Imperial look it has, I do dislike. Stinks of Space Marine. Ah well, the mini is not for me.

No word from Mayacast or other source about the November releases?

Ok, that name won't be successful in german speaking parts of the world since his name means "door knob" here
And why does he look like he's topless?

OMG!!!

So, theory time:

Aleph creation for PanO as a liaison with Steel Phallus (yadda yadda) but instead of Greek hero he is instead Roman; hence the topless/6-pack.
His name seals the deal however, though you have to be both a native English and German speaker and a Monty Python fan to "get" the joke.

(I'll wait...)

The only thing I can think about is that "Biggus Dickus" scene from "Life of Brian"

Meh, I bet most people think of swords when they read "Knauf", it literally means 'pommel'. You'd need the germwn word for 'door' as well if you'd really wanted to translate it as door knob.
I really need to see the mini painted, right now I'm not to keen on it.

"Knob" or "door knob", both is possible just check it here.
And I doubt that most people think of swords if they read "Knauf" though. You have to be somehow affiliated to swords or (medival)fencing to get this neaning in your mind first - which the majority of people isn't.
But this discussion is definitely off topic thus we should settle this particular issue here

Well, the only mature response is... I hope that you enjoy painting the mini, and that you give it an excellent, and interesting, paint job, Iah Iesu. I'll look forward to seeing it in your P&M thread. Just don't put him in a flying chariot drawn by wolves.

Peripheral to the topic, CB has licensed production of its 15mm historicals, which would include it Romans. The historical line was how I first heard of CB. There are still people out there who have no clue about infinity, but they know CB for the historicals. It's made for some interesting conversations.

The only release this month which I think is confirmed is Dire Foes 6 -- Leila Sharif. Some Yu Jing mini, and a sitting Civvie. Renders were nice looking.

Any news on the TAGline stuff for this month? Seems like we should hear something.

So I need to link you to that song by Queen? Y'know, ♫♫"I Want It All"♫♫

Seriously, more scenarios (that are better than the current ITS offerings).

I recall there being talk that TAGline would get something new each month too. I think the TAGline idea and implementation so far is pretty good. I'd like to see CB continue exploring the possibilities.

Better than the renders... again. And the renders looked darned good. Is it the odd orange that CB is using for the renders that makes them look not so great?

Ah well, I'll get this for Christmas. Maybe use the madtraps as fast panda proxies with the Druze hacker and use it as my ASA hacker. All in all, a nice release. Lots of dynamism. And a fairly distinct pose, sitting-- for a mini-- in the civvie.

I think I've got a PanO shotgun (from that HI merc model?) somewhere. I'll be slicing this guy up and giving him that, and a BSG/dropbear/grenade Locust he shall be!

Probably a head swap as well actually. Not sure what with right now but PanO helmets are hardly the most diverse in the range.

(Unless they do an actual Infinity profile for him that's great, but PanO aren't exactly starved for effective snipers)

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”
