Nah thats a Henchman Icon, he can be a henchmen in BatB, League and CoO.

Kind of annoyed to have to buy Goliath. I mean, I get that they're learning resin and its much easier to pull off dynamic sculpts with bigger models in the stuff, but he's not what I want that pack for.

Damian himself seems cool, but its kind of annoying he's not designed to be cheap enough to make it easier to work in the more expensive Batmans in Bat Family. The bundle they're selling is even 27 points over. Still excited. Damian is the first Robin I've really liked beyond the original.

Most importantly, the inclusion of this Penguin means that KM have the right to the Tim Burton/Warner movies.

So, maybe there with be a Nickelson Joker, a Keaton Batman, a new Alfred, and Bat-Nipples!

I'm not so sure. While that's clearly what they're going for, the Duck car and penguin troops have made appearances elsewhere without being branded Batman Returns. The only thing they'd probably need the rights for is Devito's Penguin, and that doesn't appear to be what we got here.

No sign that they're DC Universe though.

I would have thought Goliath would be perfect for it.

Rumor is they're going to be relaunching the DCU game soon and aren't working on new model rules for the current edition. Feels in line with the sudden sense of putting out a well managed game system we've seen in the last couple months overall.

I have had it confirmed from 2 separate sources that DCU is getting a new edition, including one of the original designers who they've asked back. Sigh.

I think it's adorable that Damien's "True Love" is Talia.

The Bat-Boxes only hit retail stores about 2 weeks ago, the first wave only came last month. I'd say you can expect more to come later, but they'll all be available in stores

I was more referring to when they first showed up, my local only got them 2 days ago. Should've made that clearer

This stuff is the November releases. They won't be in stores until the end of the month which realistically means the start of the next.

Forget November. We still ain’t gotten Ivy and Shark and the stuff they previewed/put up for preorder in July. The Metal Knights were the last thing I think we got a couple months ago.

Yeah, looks like we're back to the US getting models 2-3 months after the UK market.

Given the deluge of resin recasts they're relaunching, I'm not surprised there's some distribution snags. FWIW, Miniature Market just got the Bat Boxes in.

Nightwing (any) & Carrie Kelly as Sidekicks, with Tim Drake, Damian Wayne (50 pts) & Red Hood AK as free agents.

The only concern now is if you are limited to only newer models, since Damian goes up 10, Nightwing is his most expensive, and the complete lack of any Tim Drake/Red Robin to complete the set.

I didnt realize I could have that many Free Agents, and dont you need a leader in the crew? Restricting you to Nightwing (AK)?

Any sidekick can be leader and take a sidekick.

Huh alright. Is that a change for 2e? Or was the Heir to the Cowl rule that Nightwing (AK) had just pointless?

Sorry, confusion in wording. You don't need a Leader, you need a Boss and Sidekicks can be your Boss (and obviously, so can Leaders). The difference is, Leaders have an aura for free Let's Go!, have the Inspire trait and can reroll failed Willpower rolls. So when Nightwing is your Boss instead of Batman, he gains those abilities. A normal Sidekick acting as Boss doesn't have them. I should have said "any sidekick can be boss".

You arent limited to running Crews, you can run teams of multiple Heroes or Villains. Provides a way to use The Dark Knights, or really which ever villains you want teamed up. Themed Batfamily/Arrowverse/Villain Society builds.

There must be some rules I'm missing somewhere because I'm not seeing where it states that we can team up characters that aren't on those themed lists.

None of the Dark Knights are part of those lists and none of them have any team keywords that would allow them to be played together.

Is there another official document that has more teams?

My bad I miss read and was told something different as well. Hopefully they work it so you can do more. So I guess its just them posting the changes to FB rather than completely new.

There aren't any changes, this is it. Just adding the new stuff to teams (Damo into Batfam, Scarecrow and Grundy into Society)
