Also to note is the new Militia henchmen on either side of the medic, although they've been seen before in both the Suicide Squad book and the Flarrow book. New Nightwing is awesome though, really happy there's an Arkham Knight version, and interested to see what his rules are like. I've made a sort of vow to own all the variants of Dick Grayson they make, as he's my favourite character, and they announced this just as I've finished painting my Boy Wonder

Looking at the other AK releases, my guess for Nightwing is that he'll have Teamwork/2 with Batman for sure, probably be a Free Agent this time. Robin went from FA to Sidekick with his AK release, and Red Hood went from Sidekick to FA, so if that continues Nightwing will also make the shift (which is great, it would make running him and Batgirl a lot more viable while still leaving room for Batman in the Leader slot). All the others also have special abilities directly inspired by their videogame movesets (Robin's shield, Red Hood's execution move), but I'm not sure what Nightwing could really gain there, he doesn't really have anything unique apart from his area-of-effect stun batons, which the old version already has.

Potentially add in the 'toss batons' mine by giving him something like Boomerangs ricochet ability at short range.

So compared to the older one, this Nightwing gains Agile, Teamwork, Reflexes and 1 Movement along with the Heir rule (which I'm not convinced is a benefit) for 10 rep... Not bad, but he was already expensive, I was kind of hoping for a cheaper version.

Badass model though, and the new Penguin stuff does look great (if a little unnecessary/unexpected when at least 3 factions are still waiting on starter sets)

I like the Nightwing. Don't forget Charismatic: he's a proper Teen Titan leader.
And as for Penguin, well, he has lagged behind in the goon quality stakes. It's balancing with Joker, basically.

With Heir and Charismatic, he's a good Titans leader, without having to use the explicit Teen Titans rules. Maybe even a better Titans list than when actually using the Titans rules.

Yup absolutely. Because let's face it, of all the new teams, Titans probably suck most.

Wayland seem to deliver rapidly enough if it's marked 'in stock',


but stuff marked 'available to order' has to come from a supplier (who may not have any either) so be aware that they might not be able to supply them in any sort of timely fashion and if your order gets caught like this it will (likely) not ship until everything has arrived. Personally i'd avoid mixing the two types of item in an order

Is the RRP for the batman stuff really up to £17 per model?

Sounds right. They're super-pricey. Some of that I'm sure is licensing, but they're also just pricey.

Not usually that high in pounds surely.

I normally see them at $25 Australian (though I normally try to get them cheaper) so that currently works out to about 15 pounds according to XE's current conversion. So not too far I guess.

To be honest, I don't think there IS really a RRP for the Batman models, every store I've seen has wildly different prices for it.

My favourite pick is the Blackgate Prisoners II set which I keep seeing for around US$16 despite it having 4 units inside.
That is often the same price as a single unit blister that I can get from MM.

I tend to stick with The Outpost or Troll Trader on Ebay, they usually have single figures set at £12.50 or so (including shipping in TT's case), so they're still as cheap or cheaper than a lot of Wayland's 'deals'.

New models on the horizon. Professor Pyg (AK version) and his dolltrons will likely be out next month.

Also, a sneak peak of a tournament exclusive model for the year. To be fair, not much is know about this yet; KM have not done tournament exclusive models yet, so is a bit of speculation.

Interesting. I wonder if Pyg will be his own crew, or whether he'll be a Free Agent who then unlocks the Dolls if you take him. Quite menacing models in any case.

I really doubt he'll be his own crew, purely because there's just not enough stuff they can add other than spamming Dollotrons

If you're going to be playing Arkham Knight the game it's worth doing that before looking to closely at the AK models or the already released AK character card. Thar be spoilers in dem hills

Meh. I wish they'd do more stuff from the current comics rather than the abundance of movies and tv shows and games they've been kicking out.

But the game is based off the arkham video game lines... I prefer those minis to the comics and movies. That's why the game has been a success, it's different.

I'm in for a book too. Only issue is most of the le books can only be purchased from km direct, which means a book and promo mini will set you back about $80-$110 with shipping to the usa, the last green arrow book cost me that much from km).

I'm assuming he will be like the Harley and red hood joker minis. New card art and miniature, but same rules.
