Just thought you'd like to know he was filming in Hull

Apparently he was talking about models (I wasn't there)

He rocks as Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies.

I wonder what sort of armies Mr. Coltrane prefers.

And Cracker. Although, since Coltrane's character was grouchy, misanthropic, massively overweight and addicted to alcohol, tobacco and gambling, while the American version was fairly slender, drank moderate amounts of wine and lived in a spacious, airy apartment. not surprising that over the pond he's more famous for growing a beard and affecting a West Country accent.

Oh, and he's been both a nun and the pope.

And Doctor Johnson. And the Spirit of Christmas. And if you want to get really obscure, Michael Moon.

(By the way, this is Doctor House.)

That's awesome.
I heard (Beasts of War i think) that Robin Williams was a 40K Eldar player.
I wonder how many Hollywood gamers there are.
And what their terrain tables look like...between money and close proximity to movie props & effects people - i can imagine some AWESOME things.
Someone needs to do a gamers version of "Cribs".
=P

Nope first time I have ever seen that pic.. I know nothing about Harry Potter except he is a wizard or something... Like I said I don't watch much TV only the Penguins hockey games and maybe have seen 3 movies in the past 8 years (Star Wars, avatar, hangover) I didn't have Cable tv, phone or internet until I got married 5 years ago..just listen to my Satilite Radio for my entertainment.

You clearly live in a cultural bubble which nothing penetrates; what was he point of you saying you have never heard of him since you probably have hear of anyone.

Hull is in the UK by the way. That's also not in Amurika in case that hadn't popped up on the radio.

My brain hurts now.

Also well done Mr Coltrane, talented and clearly a man of refined tastes.

Hagrid puts the hairy in Harry Potter.

The Auld Grump, wait... that sounds wrong, somehow....

Too busy marvelling at the fact that Bernard Bresslaw could indeed sink to something lower than the Carry On movies.
