Some might say none of them are. But I know and seen a few rant about all of the factions at least ONCE.
Personally I don't like space wolves. A bunch of assorted chedder. Which is sad. Because I lost over 300 guardsmen.
So I have a grudge towards them.
What about you guys?

Definitely not Orks.

I have no preference as to which one I don't like.

INSANE army lists still available!!!! Now being written in 8th edition format! I have Index Imperium 1, Index Imperium 2, Index Xenos 2, Codex Orks Codex Tyranids, Codex Blood Angels and Codex Space Marines!
PM me for an INSANE (100K+ points) if you desire.

I hate tau. I play grey knights and chaos, and fighting tau is always just a game of me moving up, and them rolling dice. I dont feel like theres really any tactics. That being said, i hate guard more. They do the same thing, but with a ton of dice and units and get similar-or-worse results.

Fluff wise I really Like the concept of space wolves (Norse themed chapter! AWESOME!) but the wolf stuff just goes WAAAY too far and their constant borderline Hersey that they get away with "because they are a first founding chapter" gets reeeaaallly annoying, especially with their new rule set filling up tables with stacks of provalone.

It's a toss up between Tau, Eldar, and Space Marines. Tau, it's just a gave of me making saves. Eldar are just so much better in every way than any other army. Space Marines because they get all the cool gak and if you don't play Codex: SM, you don't get anything.

Fluff and model wise I don't like Eldar. Ugh. I hate how overpowered they are as well.

It's a tie between GK and SW. I despise both of these factions' mary sue backstories more than the rest of the poor backstories in the game by a large margin.

Space Marines are boring as hell. Very slow, mediocre fire power, and not good enough in cc.

Who gets all the books, supplements and new models? Last I checked Eldar still had a stupid amount of Finecast models. Then there's the lovely Warp Spider models.

They may be the favorite in terms of merchandising, but that means nothing on the table top really. The Eldar have never been worse than decent. No other faction can say that.

Space Wolves. You can have a Wolf Lord armed with Wolf Claws riding a Thunderwolf in a group of Thunderwolf Calvary leading a strike force of Wolf Guard Terminators, a Stormwolf Gunship, a Wolf Priest, Canis Wolfborn, Harald Deathwolf and Wolf Scouts.

But they still get the special treatment. So what if Eldar can still be more OP? Not everyone shares your hellish group.

This thread will end well.

From a fluff perspective, the Tau.

From a rules perspective, the Space Wolves, particularly the idiocy that is Wulfen.

5th edition Eldar were rated pretty bad... they were amazing in 3rd, good in 4th, weak in 5th, strong in 6th and now breaking the game in 7th

Any army that can be structured down into taking just a bunch of monstrous and gargantuan creatures as 90% of their battle-forged army. Currently that's pretty much just tau, with a dash of eldar in the places that actually allow multiple super heavies.

But yes playing tau in general is just lame. You get to a tipping point on like turn 2/3 where you try a couple charges, and whichever way it goes the game just snowballs that direction.

2nd ed loyalist marines were unspeakably awful.

Eldar were not particularly weak in 5th. I saw tables flipped in frustration over them in 5th.

Being more OP is everything. A bunch of useless releases is just that, useless. Sure, marines have more models than they should, but 75% of them are trash on the table. If it doesn't involve gladius, skyhammer, grav cannons, or libby conclave, it's probably not that great.

Really hard to argue with those three points lol.

I've never been a fan of Tau, since I first saw them in the Fire Warrior game all those years ago, but it's clear a lot of people like them. And I wish space wolves were just toned down a smidge.

Space marines. All colors flavors and fetish preferences of SMs just feel like being drowned in a clammy mass of grey boring sludge to me at this point.

They would be a wicked cool concept as a single faction. But as the focus of the entire game and 1/2 of the total releases I am so profoundly sick of them it's not even funny.

Half the player base plays them. They have a million models, a half dozen codexes, and 95% of the fluff and special characters ( all of which are bland Mary Sues).

I think the first time I read the list of their genetic enhancements (and started to hear the lisping voice of the 9 year old kid who apparently wrote the passage reading it) I saw the shadow of the mass of frustration and tiredness I feel now every time I see a new SM release.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

I do'nt hate any, as I like the variety they bring.
But there are 2 things about Tyranids I don't like.
1. They're insect-like, flesh-eating AliensĀ®. I don't like stuff from beyond that eats people, and even less if they're bugs. Every time a Tyranid dies, I feel happy inside.
2. Their fluff is bizarre. I just don't like unstoppable enemies. Also, the theory they've eaten 12 galaxies before is so stupid I can't even.

Merchandise-wise, Space Wolves. What's with all the wolf this, fang that? Phl Kelly, pls.

On rules I will say ork, far overpriced army with poor BS but not good on close combat and all the units to much weak
Also lack of variety on close weapons for IC (mainly claw and bif choopa).

to much wrong things

For rules it would be Tau. They're just boring to play against. There's nothing fun about watching the other person throw fists full of dice that are all twin linked AP2/3 ignores cover from the marker lights. Even when I beat them I still feel it's a boring game. For models and fluff, space wolves by a mile. They manage to be Mary sue, repetitive and sound like a high schoolers fan fiction. I used to play them but after all the horrible fluff and releases I couldn't take it any more.

Model wise? Probably elder. I could never get into their stupid looking helmets.

In almost every other way I would say space wolves, they're a trope taken way too far. We need less space marines in the world.

I think space marines are great! However, we don't need 5 separate armies for them. One or two would suffice.

Also, I've never been a fan of sisters of battle, their fluff is ok, but the lack of support of models and the fact they seemed to be made just to make up for female models really sucks.
