I think it's good having the symbol on the one now. How many times have we missed our "re-rolls" of one and missed the ones because of all the dice rolled? So maybe it's good to have the symbol on one now it will be easier to see our re-rolls.

Do preorders from the GW website typically arrive before or after the street date?
And to Davor, I'm sorry I shamed you earlier. It wasn't intentional. I just assumed that by destroying so many foul vehicles of the imperium how they work should be old hat.

I usually just get preorders shipped to my local GW. Free shipping, and I get it on the day of release. Those few times I've preordered and had stuff come to the house, it's usually over a week after. Caveat to that, I'm a couple thousand miles from Memphis, where they ship from, so if you were closer, it wouldn't be such a wait.
I remember, years ago, when they'd ship early and try to time it so that you'd get your preordered stuff on, or as close as they could manage, to release day. I even got some a day or two early, once or twice. Those were good times.

They should arrive at your local GW on release day for you to collect. They should do at least - that's how it works here in the UK. If it's going to your door, it may take an extra day or two.

AFTER. They don't ship it until the release date, and if you took the free shipping option don't count on it even getting there the same week.

Eyup, just a quick headswap (and the odd arm swap in the case of the icon bearer) and a matching paint scheme to tie in with the rest of the army, quite effective and neat, especially as they're mostly using the heads with the scarfs / bandanas to hide their mouths.

Very interested to see what the modellers out there come up with when combining these kits, the Skitarii, chaos cultists and Imperial Guard. I found that just Skitarii heads added nice variety to the DW: Overkill miniatures:
I do fear for wallets out there though, a largely infantry driven Cult army will not come cheaply.

I bet the Neophytes and also Acolytes will be Troops. The Acolytes from Deathwatch:O were Troops. Possibly also the Guardsmen variant will be troops as well, if they get their own profile.

I expect the acolytes to also be troops (like they currently are), and the mutated guys from the same kit to be elites. Something like +1A and more weapon options.
The brood brothers could also include standard guardsmen, who would probably be troops too.
The fast attack slot seems pretty empty though. Maybe the transport variant of the truck. Is the sentinel FA in the guard codex?

HQ Patriarch
HQ Magus
HQ Primus
Elite Purestrain
Elite Aberrants
Troops? Brood Brothers
Troops Neophytes
Troops Acolytes
??? Metamorphs
DedTrans Goliath Truck

looking at the gw website, we can conclude that the Neophytes and the Acolytes are troops and Metamorphs are elites. The Patriarch, Magus and Primus will most likely stay hq, because it would be strange if the would become elite or something like that. Seeing how genestealers aren't as common in a gc army, its very likely that they won't be troop, so that leaves either elite(as they where in dw : ok) or otherwise fast

Spot on.
THIS is what GW should have focused on years ago. Not squander their HIPS capabilities on increasingly silly looking giant monsters that hardly fit on the tables anymore.
Awesome looking and detailed infantry kits. When done right, no one comes close to GW. These are gritty but still exotic. Grimdark done right. These are kit's people want to buy more than one box of. Had they focused on making these kinds of kits, I might still have cared about 40K

Got my limited ed codex and a set of dice. Gonna wait on the minis for now. I'm sitting on 100+ painted hybrids, and some selected weapon/arm swaps should have those ready to roll. I may get some acolytes to run as metamorphs down the road. Hopefully I can get some of the new weapons bits from a bits seller.
My trucks should count-as the new ones nicely (although I'll probably get the new kit at some point) with just a little work, and I have 3 russes, some chimeras, and 3 sentinels ready to go already.

I believe one of the Elite is something called like Prima genestealer which is basically genestealer in Tyranids but more powerful
