True, but it does not mention the release date of the tidewall or fortress, or the price of the dice packs. The maelstrom dice cube is not in the white dwarf at all. The new white dwarf seems to skip certain releases ( maybe ones that were put together at short notice) the strike force ultima box was not in white dwarf at all, and the 40k mat appeared a month late.
The info faeit shares is just the info that goes out to retailers each week but it has the benefit of being complete.

Any word on what we can expect out of the Thousand Sons release? Just the rubric marines and Magnus? I know there was some vague hinting of terminators too?

Any word if we can expect any of these to be dual kits so maybe a 40k Thousand Sons army will be more than cultists, rubrics, and sorcerers?

Atia has said thousand sons in December. What we know is coming is Magnus, Rubric Marines, Rubric terminators and probably a book too. Fenris part two has been confirmed to be coming at some point as well. There is no info about possible dual kits. I imagine there will be some clampacks too.

That moment when you decide to finally start thosand sons....Then find out that they are getting a new codex....and new plastic kits......AFTER you buy £80($100) worth of resin 3rd party bitz.....

I am very conflicted..... Fking TZEENTCH!

Feels quite appropriate though

I only decided to start because I won a local tournament on a single dice roll My service to the changer of ways is off to a good start I guess!

Although, all of my Rubics are going to be based on MK3 armor rather than the newer types, so I guess at least they will look pretty cool/unique to me.

If those bitz are the ones I'm thinking about you shouldn't fret. Those bitz look amazing.

3 sets of the GW Conversion Kit, Knight of Change heads from Spellcrow, Kromlech Torsos + Some Khopeshs and Scibor Shoulder pads. Not dissapointed (building my first Rubic Marine right now), just kind of hilarious timing!

any word as to what can possibly be this??

Description:
Designed and deployed to provide additional power on the battlefield, the Haemotrope Reactor is an indispensable tool for armies wishing to unleash ever-more destructive waves of plasma upon their enemies. An imposing structure, understood fully by few, it is used to bolster the defensive capabilities of the Void Shield Generator – or amplify the already intimidating destructive capacity of the Plasma Obliterator. In a pinch, the Haemotrope Reactor can be used as cover; this can be a terrible decision however, as the cowering warrior opens himself up to the potential of horrific injuries resulting from power leaks…

... and btw wound trackers ^^

It'd be great if all the heamotrope did was make VSG immune to grav, Gauss, Haywire, etc. "hey, want void shields to be good again? Buy this kit! Don't think about the fact that we made it this much weaker though!"

I don't see what your beef is here, to be honest. If you made it a super-duper void shield, then it wouldn't make that game much fun, would it? Kudos to GW here for adding more scenery to their range.

For interest: GW seems to have paid attention to people... the skull is now on the 1 and not the 6 for their new dice!

Does anyone know exactly what makes the Maelstrom Dice special compared to the already expensive Dice Cubes GW already sells?

Is it literally just that they have numbers instead of pips?

Riveted pipes hit just the right spot between steampunk and sci-fi without distracting from gothic aesthetics.

Pipes can also be an easy thing to model, as you only have to model half the pipe, then skate it then create a single sprue, two of which makes the full pipe.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

I've finally figured out what bothers me about those reactors: they don't look like reactors as much as they do the Large Hadron Collider with skulls on.

On the plus side, I was premature in thinking these would hurt Quantum Gothic, they're not nearly as nice as I thought from the initial descriptions.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

-Its a good way to tie different scenery pieces together to a thematic complex.
-It also provide a great feature as partial cover for models around it (usually not neccesary with "cover in scenery" rules but great for necromunda and skirmish games).
-They give a nice feeling of the kind of bulky/mechanical technology 40k EoM represent. It even have chimney pipes to further flirt with steam punk rather than high-tech.
-Probably good for production/sprues as has been pointed out by others.

Is it thematic to refer to this new piece as " the bit where the blood pipe does a loop the loop around a giant skull, to skullify the blood, before continuing on its journey"?
That's better than crashed or wrecked vehicles?

So disappointingly small.

As I'm sure most people here know, I'm usually pretty big on GW terrain and I own tons and tons of it, but this thing just seems kinda bland. A little circle thing, and you get a second one that's just the same.

This and the stupidly overpriced Void Shield Generator has me worried for what GW has in store for their terrain.

And, although this is AoS, what happened to the skull pillar that throne used to come with?

Feels like they've re-cut it. Personally, I think it looks far better without the skulls. At least someone can actually sit on the bugger!

Hero Base sets also contain number of skulls that were not mentioned in White Dwarf (including Orc, Tau, Genestealer and Bird skulls). Much awesome.
