Asked my HP friends and they don t know who the recent image is supposed to be which is not a good sign!

It's actually really nice that there is such an accurate portrayal of him in sculpt, isn't it.

Already seeing a lot of potential for gifts with these (to paint up and give to close friends or family, something I like to do from time to time)

Pacific: true that.

Blimey, Mr. Morden! I've never read the books or watched the movies and I know it's Snape...

Yeah, same here. That is clearly Rickman as Snape.

I don't care if I ever get to play the game, I will be collecting the range of figures. They are exceptionally well done!

Oh they are huge fans - they go on about it enough!!!

However all three of the girls (none of whom are gamers) were unsure of the likeness and were debating if it was Lucius or Severus Snape (I don't know who they are), the cloak was apparently steering them towards Snape but they thought it was a poor likeness.

It's a very good likeness. Not quite as good as Mad Eye or Sirius, but still damned good.

I... what?

That model doesn't look anything like Jason Isaacs.

Cheeks, chin, and hair(Snape has an obvious part, Lucius has it brushed back) are all wrong for Issacs' Lucius.

The Snape model is also clearly based off of a publicity photo that they released for "The Order of the Phoenix" movie. A lot of the details that are present in the model are initially difficult to make out in the photo since he's wearing almost all black/dark purple.

And here is Lucius Malfoy.

Mr. Morden, give your friends hell! Tell them they need to go back to First Year Potions because they clearly aren't paying attention who's who among Hogwart's faculty.

The Emma Watson likeness is great, but yeah, the posing and overall presentation don't really embody the character of Hermione to me. I wonder why they went with the anime school girl stance and flowing scarf?

I would have preferred her just holding a book or aiming her wand at an unseen foe.

It's as if they forgot who they were sculpting and started with Hermione and finished with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Skill is undeniable, but the pose.....

Please, PLEASE, rethink this figure!

Cheers

Totally agree.

You know, with a head swap, that might make a good Luna Lovegood model. She seems the type that would have a self-aware scarf and always moved with a bit of a pixie-hop. But Hermione? This is just the wrong posing for a character of her sensibilities.

Yeah, what the heck is going on with that pose? That scarf rivals the Fourth Doctor's in length, the leg in the air is just odd... ditch the scarf and repose the feet more sensibly and you might be onto a good sculpt, but as-is, that's pretty surprisingly poor after all the others we've seen.

I've absolutely no interest in the game, but they are definitely some fantastic sculpts. The likenesses are spot on.

But it is that bad. A challenge for me, please find any reference to Hermione skipping or wearing a long animated scarf?

Now, I know that that can seem a bit anorakish but this purports to being a Harry Potter game. So I, we, kind of expect the figures to represent the characters with a degree of accuracy.

Cheers

I thought it was Luna at first... Seriously what's with the pose and scarf. Is she doing the dance of her people?

I know the wands need to be a little thicker because they would snap... But anyone else think she is... holding a carrot?

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

I really like it. Looks like Watson, got book and wand right. The back leg spoils it a bit, but not enough to spoil the whole model.

Still waiting on the Wessely twins though.

Yeah, when I saw that sculpt I was not thinking Hermione at all despite the face strongly resembling Emma Watson. My biggest concern for this product line is not the sculpts or the rules but rather the casting quality. I have had nothing but bad experiences with miniatures from Knight Models.

Bellatrix looks so much better painted than in the bare sculpt, I think.

Any ideas on the leftmost lying down one? I think I can make out a beard on him, so possibly Dumbledore,

The one on the right appears to be an unpainted version of the deatheater. The one on the left reminds me of Alberforth Dumbledore. I would have thought the Elder Wand would be prominent on Albus. The Harry figure looks quite good. I can forgive the Marilyn Munroe wind effects as a reference to the first film when he gets his wand. Hermione? Still naff.
