Hmmm...that's odd. I had not, so I logged into my account to check the status of my order ... and it shows I don't have any orders.

They probably won't ship for a week or more. I remember my order from last year taking a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if it all went out on the 28 or 29th when sale is over.

Kinda funny I ordered 3 things for Battlelore, then next day ordered Arkham Horror Ragoue(sp) Expansion deck. Got the deck in 2 days and waiting on my holiday order still.

Did get conformation though same day so all good.

Anybody have a confirmation, payment originally went thru, but payment disappeared from their accounts?

Didn't that recently happen to someone else and it was just a sign of information being moved to the pre-shipping database?

Also, pretty sure last year the orders were delayed at the very least until after Cyber Monday, and I think there were a few similar questions about orders going through. If you're worried, send them an email. Just don't expect a reply right away.

Just got my shipping confirmation today. Looks like everything went fine, I guess they decide to wait until the sale was complete to begin the process of shipping orders.

I had to email them a time or two and then they sent it as a response to my second email.

Got my shipping notice today as well.

My package of WFRP/40K RPG books arrived today. Six hardback books for under $30 - not bad at all.

Man, they must have had a lot of orders to work through!

Good to see they're shipping them. Placed my order on the 16th and still no notice; must have been swamped.

I had 2 orders but have only received notice of one of them mailing. I'm assuming it was just that much more they have to work thru till they get to the second one.

Both of my orders have now arrived, although the second one only got there yesterday. More worryingly I tried to contact their help desk to get an update on the delays twice. The first time I didn't get any response, the second time I only got an answer after receiving the second dispatch notification and the response was a rather incoherent "we're really busy, but can't check on individual orders anyway".

So, stuff is coming, but when it will clear through the system is anyone's guess (including Asmodee's it would appear)

I still haven't received any updates on my order other than the confirmation email. Considering the shipping charges, I expected to have my order by now. Instead, stuff that I ordered after this from China via the slow boat has already shipped and arrived.

On the good side, the pending charge for my order disappeared from my credit card as all charges from merchants that don't get confirmed. So, I'm not out any money as this moment. As of right now, I'm not even sure I care about the order anymore at all. At this point I'm more concerned that some fraud is going on and my credit card information will be used for something unauthorized in the future.

I've tried to contact customer service. I just get automated emails back with non-sequitur replies.

But this has made an impression. I will never order "direct" from Fantasy Flight Games again, no matter what the alleged deal is. Handling orders like this is completely unacceptable in this age of Amazon. This is the worst mail order experience I've had in at least a decade.

Still only have confirmation of one of my orders. And even with that confirmation the charge for that and the other order still aren't on my card. Oh well. It'll show up when it shows up. I'm hoping the second one comes thru as that's the majority of books I ordered.

I've heard nothing since my order confirmation on the 17th Nov.

I understand your pain, with the high shipping cost, I would have expected this to be handling with more care (I ordered the 16th, just got the notification like the 2nd), hopefully it will have arrive by the time I get home from work today.

I will say that this is far better than the experience I've had with Battlefront/GF9 - 5 months and 3 returns before I got my stuff from them, all while they held my money so I couldn't get a refund.

Have you ordered from them before?

I ordered from FFG not counting this sale, 3 other times in the past month or so and gotten the product in 2 days. Just as fast as amazon.

My Holiday order is still who knows where, and ive tried to contract support but got automated replies. It stinks, but I'm in no hurry for Battle Lore items I got.

Sorry for experience is bad, but they are really good in shipping. again they prob just got swamped.

Got my first order in today. Enough to max out disc wars for two+ people to play for $40. So I'm a happy camper that came thru. Now hopefully my box with 5-6 RPG books comes in. Still haven't gotten that tracking number yet.

So I finally got a reply to my first email query, sent in nearly three weeks ago! Was a bit more of a professional, composed, response saying that they had been utterly overwhelmed by demand in this year's sale.

Now I get that that can't be helped, but I have two observations on this; before I sent my second e-mail I specifically checked their website for any news and there was nothing about the delays so 1) if you are being overwhelmed, put a damn banner on the main page so people can understand what's going on (and maybe hold off bothering you). Whilst I accept that there's probably not a huge amount you can do to improve logistics in a rush, 2) you can grab some extra people, or an agency, to at least answer the emails!

Final thought, maybe giving up the GW license wasn't such a great idea, seems like quite a demand for the RPGs is still there!?

Could be people grabbing them before they are gone "just in case". I know I've paused when seeing a GW FFG game in the shop with an eye for future value.

Oh that's absolutely a big part of it, but I don't think it's the whole story; this level of demand suggests there was still a viable market there (possibly even a growing one, given how GW see to be improving)

It's a shame to see all that good work disappear is all.

the prices were so cheap I don't think you can really say anything based on the sales

there is clearly an interest in 40K and the expanded universe the RPGs provide for it so if you could pick up the stuff for the price of a coffee/pint or two why not do so

(I know I would have done so if the international shipping hadn't meant they'd have cost me real money)

far fewer would have ever bitten at real prices (or at best only grabbed a book or two)

I have to say, if they had both not announced the partnership was ending AND had this sale, I wouldn't have picked up the Conquest cards that I did get.

I have a feeling I wasn't alone in this; the regular price point may not have kept customers at bay, but this sale was just too good for folks to pass up. In short, the market may not have been sustainable and the fire sale before they got stuck with soon-to-be unsellable stock may have even been at somewhat of a loss - to save stock fees down the road.

That's what drove me. I enjoyed GMing Rogue Trader, so I thought i should grab all the Death Watch and Dark Heresy stuff while I could. You never know when you'll get to GM them, right?

I finally got my shipping notice yesterday! I ended up getting all of the Android and Arkham Horror fiction books for 1$ each! and got the AH art book as well. I also grabbed the Nemisis expansion to Relic for $10 (I had just paid $30 for Halls of Terra on Amazon the week before the sale ). Other than that, there wasnt a whole lot I needed to get.

I'm a big fan of the 40k fiction universe, and love pen/paper RPGs, but I am already heavily invested in FFGs Star Wars and the WFRP 3rd, having nearly all of the material for the former and everything for the latter...and barely have enough time to play those games. So, even thought the 40k rpg books were dirt cheap...I was tempted, but ultimately decided against it. Same goes for the 40k card game... Already have Netrunner, thinking about trying out Arkham Horror, and support was going away for Conquest anyway. Plus, shipping costs were nuts, even for us in the US. I got $39 worth of stuff and paid over $30 for shipping!

No shipment yet, but got the response telling me they had been slammed and my items were pending still. I usually get a couple things from them every holiday sale and it takes a week or so to ship. They must have had a ton of GW stuff in the warehouse and everyone came out of the woodwork.

Finally got my second shipping notice. So my books should arrive soon too!

Sidenote: Diskwars is amazing for the value I wound up getting it for (and decent for it's normal pricing). Super sad they never got around to flushing out all the factions
