The New Zealand Pre-Order page, the country where it's the 10th already. Obviously not the UK site as it's still the 9th.

He has to edit his review. He may have been spoken to due to the depth and breadth of what he put down for the Legion review(likely mechanics), and so is editing the Agents review. So let us give him the time he needs, because he is doing such a great favor for us all.

He is in the US right? So he could still be at work, or getting ready to get of work. So mayby 1/2 hour or an hour from now depending on how long he has to travel he will have it out.

There have been many rumors (including from the likes of Atia) that Sisters are/were due plastic models and a codex in the first two months of the new year.

Yes I recall those. It's not the new year yet. There was no rumours indicating that Imperial Agent Supplement to be this, so hence why, where are those rumours to say Imperial Agents Supplement to be so.

I think the idea is that it is unlikely for a full codex and minis to come out so soon after a full army list in CIA.

We have a blizzard bearing down on us, so I called in my order for tomorrow.
US price for the Canoness is $25. Still limited stock, but my store will be able to order more in the future.
I also picked up a St. Celestine, as well as the book. I'm guessing that this means relatively few changes for the Sisters in the new book... which I'm actually ok with.

I think the fellow you are quoting is despairing that if this book contains the full Sisters army list, then the rumor of a new SoB stand-alone codex in the new year may be wrong. And that it would stand to follow that perhaps the same is true for the plastic models.

My faith is strong, however.

Then again, Traitor Legions had the full rules for the CSM parts of the Wrath of Magnus book.

NZ price is 200$ conversion based on Canoness price is 1/2.

The only thing I don't get is why they did this. So first Sister units(immolator and such) disappear over the course of a couple of years, only to now suddenly return as the exact same kits/models/material, why?

Something interesting:

Only this model gets a new box with an army specific icon and title. This is exactly what we saw in the Magnus previews with "Thousand Sons" written on the box, heralding in all the new box sets less than a month later. As the old metal models and immolator don't seem to have been boxed this way, the precedent gives me hope that they are indeed clearing out inventory and will come up with a proper codex/models soon enough.

At a guess, the new CEO does not understand why they would stop selling a product that they have:

a) already developed.
b) people want to buy.

So it is another of the many reversals of course we have seen from GW of late.

Because they figured there was enough demand? GW have been on an "obscure faction" kick for a couple of years now. Given the success of the Mechanicus armies, Deathwatch and Genestealer Cults, they may have decided it was time to revisit Sisters and the other Imperial hangers-on.

And since fans of those factions are so loyal to the old imagery, why make new kits? I mean, if they'd released GC with the old models (ignore how dated they'd have looked for the purposes of this argument...) they'd probably still have been snapped up.

I'm hoping VeteranNoob will chime in. This is supposed to be a codex per VeteranNoob. I thought it would have like one or two sister units, like they listed with greyknights. But now it looks like this is the new sister codex? I'm not sure what to think yet.
