Well with round 1 of codexes done starts to be time for round 2, maybe with lesser speed and more models, to start anyway

If I had to guess I'd say it's an Admech skimmer sort of along the line of the land speeder storm.

This is from the design cues of it, I'm not sure how likely it is that GW is giving Admech another vehicle. Although to be fair, if they give admech a non-forgeworld transport that would fix most of their needs in regards to the model range (another cheapish HQ is needed in addition I'd say)

They keep mentioning an AdMech skimmer in the lore stuff for them. I'll see if I can find it again.

My money is on a SoB vehicle.
The vents them selves make it imperial but they do not link it to any particular faction. As others have pointed out, we are seeing the back of a vehicle from the top. We see a turbine pointing into a rudder.
The big deal for me though is that it is curvy. Look at the gentle taper of the right side and the rounded bevel of the bottom right corner. This alone marks it as not being SM AM or AdMech. It could be a GC or RT vehicle but I feel a SoB vibe coming from it.

I don't think its Sisters of Battle. GW aren't teasing that one out they are giving bold "here it is" releases for Sisters in a much more open air release.

My guess is its a marketing attempt to see how it works when GW teases and releases clear visual designs ahead of a release. Seeing how the community reacts and how the 3rd party manufacturers react.

It's also possibly AoS or Warhammer Underworlds related...Kharadron Overlords could use something interesting and this would fit the bill, with them getting smoke bombs.

Is it a human thumb at the bottom of the image?

Only if the bit is HUGE or the person has very tiny hands.

Edit: You probably mean not a real human, but a human figure. That makes way more sense.

Hmm Necromunda would be a good fit for a human holding a smoke bomb. Delaque maybe?

I'm not seeing anything in that image that remotely resembles a human thumb. I see a grenade, with a main cylinder, two rounded end-caps and angular spoon and a cloud of smoke coming out of it.

It looks far too 'clean' to be a fantasy piece, in my opinion, so I think that a smoke marker for necromunda would be the best guess.

The white bit on the bottom of the cylinder, with what looks like a grey fingernail on it. Although it could be a lever, surely that should've pinged off after being thrown?

It could just as easily be a cylindrical clay jar with some sort of daemon/spirit being released for AoS.

There are a couple of very squig-like parts which could be either 40k orks or AoS moonclan. Also the crudely stitched fabric could possibly be orky.

EDIT: I wouldn't take the number of rumour images as much indication of the size of release we will be getting. Kharadron overlords only got three images but ten different kits.

Nah the aesthetic seems too general and nonspecific for it to belong to a gang.

Well its certainly rough which would suggest a primitive weapon used by one of the Destruction factions - plus it lacks the ornate style of many chaos weapons (even if some are basic weapons).
