I think it's just that it's the natural reaction of a sisters player to anything related to their faction. I'll christen it "pre-factual disappointment" - get disappointed before you have any facts at hand. Ironically it's also post-factual since even actual proper new models will still disappoint them ("OMG HEELS!")

Seriously now, it's such a pleasure to see that new Living Saint. I hope she will be a Lord of War, destroying everything in her wake.

Basically, they use the same trick than AoS Prosecutors. It's good to see their design is very similar to the metal sisters. I will glady take those as soon as they are available!

I'm sure there are some very embarrassed posters keeping quiet right now. There were quite a few who were very very vocal about how Sisters were getting squatted and that the bin video was not going to yield ANY plastic sisters of battle, and how it was all about the sisters of silence from the Prospero box.

Oh deary me lol.

I still don't see any plastic sisters, I just see Celestine and her Twins. Plastic Sisters Deconfirmed!

I'm not denying they aren't plastic. I'm just saying we need to be careful not to hope to much that is all.

Okay so the 'complaining about complainers' and the 'hope is the first path to disappointment' posters are out in force. Good times.

Just no. The number of Dark Eldar that give a fig about Ynnead is pretty damn tiny.

I mena they didn't care when there Gods where killed off in the Fall and haven't really changed since, or if anything became even worse, why on earth would they actively care about a new God turning up? (Though Vect would definitley would be paying attention to see how it effects him.)

It is a thread about Sisters of Battle after all.

Regardless, I like the new Celestine and the Twins. And am excited to see what comes of it, full range or not. Heck the book might have more formations for the Sisters (and hopefully a Black Templar Detatchment).

This is a set of Celestine and her bodyguards in plastic. SoB are the line troops. Plastic Sisters these are not.

If they've really got nothing better to do than haunt dakka with posts about how they need to be disappointed ahead of time because they might not be getting the exact toys they want... well they're really beyond any help or convincing from any of us, aren't they? Just glad I don't have to play with them!

On topic, these are amazing. So, so excited!

Where did I say I wasn't happy that Sisters got some plastic figures?

I'm saying we need to not jump the shark. Pull the cart before the horse. Or what have you.

We don't even know if she still has the sisters faction. We literally have some pictures, and a name. Excuse me if I'm wary what bones GW is willing to throw us.

The irony is that the major complaint of the Sisters players was that Celestine was not included in Codex: Imperial Agents.

Here we see Celestine, with some bodyguards and confirmation that rules for her are in a supplement...so likely changed as well.

And now they're bitter about the fact she is in fact there after all?

These models are amazing. What a wonderful surprise to wake up to! Celestine and the Gemini - amazing! Stunning models.

But that AdMech Magos is jaw dropping. I love his centipede legs hidden under his cloak.

Also why were they covering up the Canticles page? Does that mean an updated AdMech book?

I know there are rumours of additional SOB plastic models coming however I'm not confident that we are getting battle sister troops in plastic considering the inqusitor book showed all metal range and there was no change in the rules in that book for different weapon options which usually come when GW redoes a new sprue. However I don't think it's out of the realm of a new unit in the new codex.

If they where going to go through the effort to make a plastic Celestine with two "Not Seraphim" then it would seem logical that they would also make plastic troops for sisters. Why go though the effort of making a new character kit in plastic for a faction and not also make the base units for that faction in plastic when the base units will move a lot more kits and thus be a better return on investment.

At this point I'm 99% sure plastic sisters troops will be released in the near future.

They arent going to show any of that if they aren't releasing them with the book.

Plastic Battle Sisters line troops aside, I think it is very likely that Seraphim get updated. See that cloud of Seraphim arriving behind Celestine? They clearly will play a role in the new campaign and we've already seen new Seraphim sculpts. Likely we will see a larger revamp with the release of the new campaign.

Don't forget the plastic Grey Knights weren't released until a few months after their 5th ed. Codex. GW has released models after the codex in the past and considering that Christmas has always been a very model-lite month for GW's retail for years, I'd not be surprised to see something released for a few months after.

Hell, I'd not be surprised if 40k's 30th anniversary forced a few things to be released earlier than intended - hence the use of the older models - it does seem odd for the Thousand Sons rules to be in WoM AND Traitor Legions but they were, released within a single week of eachother. I'd not be surprised if Imperial Agents was pushed out early to ensure it was out for their year of 40k.

I have been waiting for this for a long, long time and GW has not disappointed! St Celestine and her Seraphim guards look AMAZING! Cannot wait to get them. Wow painting those long trailing scrolls is pretty intimidating however!

But it doesn't mean there's a plastic Sisters range coming with this book, or anytime soon. As I said, it's not a new Codex, it's just a single special character.

It'd be like claiming that Shadowfax means that "The Inquisition is now in plastic!". It's not. It's 1 model.

Let's not overstate or inflate this to silly "Plastic Sisters & Half-Life 3 confirmed!" levels of Internet Hyperbole.

I wouldn't be surprised if Imperial Agents was a project sitting on the backburner to pair with some Chaos releases and when they made their management shift and thus changed their design gameplan it became a left over project. Similar to how we got Traitor's Hate a few months before the far more impressive Traitor Legion book.

I wasn't responding to you. I was responding to that other guy who said that there were no plastic sisters. That's obviously not true. I'm not talking about a range; just that there are now plastic sob models.

Basically:

"There will never be any SoB releases! Mark my words!"
Cannoness and Imperial Agents
"There will never be any *plastic* SoB releases! Also they killed Saint Celestine! Mark my words!"
Saint Celestine and Gemini
"There will never be any *plastic Troop* SoB releases! Mark my words!"

You can see how this could get old.

I really like how they're not wasp-waisted, pencil-thighed, insanely busty, nipple armour women. Sure, they have bodices and boob armour but I feel like body-shape wise they're pretty spot on.

The Inquisitor is all of these things but I like her anyway, apart from her weirdly flat face and stupid hat with a stupid candle on it. She'll be getting a head swap and probably a weapon swap as well as I can't really see the place for a crossbow in 40k. Correct me if I'm wrong...

The Magos is just pure 40k joy.

If there are to be no new codexes until 8E I doubt we will see anything other than Celestine.

Wow I am so happy with St Celestine and those Seraphim, I like them more every time I see them. Didn't realize how worried I was that GW would sweep them aside or redesign them into something unrecognizable. But here they are and they look exactly right.

Witha bit of luck the Fall of Cadia should bring a whole range of formations and updated rules just like wulfen or mont'ka for sisters.
