It doesn't LOOK like MC is on his sheet.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

Looks like the bottom has a new set of Canticles, he could have a unique few options.

I thought about that at first, but it looks more like Warlord traits or Objectives.

It would be weird for them to put new Canticles in a separate table.

So lets take a deep look

Hes an HQ, has a skull for his force org symbol

Points in triple digits first number looks like a 2, definitely not a 1 or in the 100 point range

Stats are fuzzy looks like WS 5 BS 6 ST 6 T6 W5 I 2-3 LD 10, save too fuzzy to make out Unit type too fuzzy, 1 (unique)

Wargear too fuzzy

Special rules:
Canticles of the Omnissiah
looks like Canticles of something else?
Feel no pain
independant character
Very bulky

Weapon appears to be short range, range and str numbers are fuzzy but appears to be AP1

My eyes hurt now

I hope this new inqusitor has some killer special rules because she has to compete against:
Kazamoz who is a MC that can accurately orbital bombard his own troops.
Cortez who is an obj secured psychic beast with super interceptor.
And greyfax who should be an obj secured psychic Beast that rips up rogue psykers, it would have been great if she was a sister of silence type blank though.

So there's an interesting art piece on Faeit concerning the Magos.

Now that GW mostly stick to actual model designs in there artwork I'm wondering what the mono eye thing on the left behind the Vanguard is. Rust stalker or something new? The legs on the right look a bit like FW's Cerastus knights but there missing the crotch armour plate and seem thinner.

The model is great, why does she have to 'compete' against other characters?
She could also be an untouchable/null

All of these new models look fantastic! I'm especially in love with Celestine and the twins. Been wanting to start a SoB force since I started playing- glad I waited. Now we need some rank and file.

That is a good question, looks too small to be a knight but bigger than any of the current 40k admech bots.

On the left judging from the body armor I'd say it's something along those lines. Maybe they'll do something similar to what FW did with making vanguards/rangers into peltasts.
Maybe an ironstrider/dragoon of a sort on the right?

Wow I am so happy with St Celestine and those Seraphim, I like them more every time I see them. Didn't realize how worried I was that GW would sweep them aside or redesign them into something unrecognizable. But here they are and they look exactly right.

At first I wasn't impressed since it was said to be Celestine then thought, nah can't be, not WOW factor enough so thought it was a jump captain or what ever they are called.I was expecting a Stormcast on flying with the swirls/cape thing going on to make it more grander. Then I found out yes it is Celestine and thought, all this time waiting was expecting something more epic.

The more I look at it, the more I like it though.

Could be. A Rust stalker and Ironstrider with a bit of artistic licence on the armour plates would fit.

You can't be a null and a psyker at the same time. They already said she is a psyker.
The model is nice however why take an overpriced named with bad special rules when Cortez is a lvl 2 psyker with obj secured and super interceptor great for 100pts. There are ton of GW minatures that look great but have crap rules and you never see anyone play them.

Technically so was the Immolator gunner.

Though fear not, it seems all but inevitable at this point. There's little chance that GW revamps a single model for an effectively abandoned product line. Plastic Sisters are probably just being kept for next year and a different book/release.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Very neat indeed!

Looks like artistically liberal depiction of sicarians, and Vanguard on the left. As far as the robot legs, looks totally new. I've spent dozens of hours assembling/painting AdMech, and it's not anything I've seen before.

So, what's next: plastic Thunderhawk, Squats, or, dare I say it, Forgeworld releasing Rogal Dorn?

Indeed. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a full release. As someone already mentioned, it wouldn't make much sense to release three models in plastic and then just stop. The real question then becomes if they'll get a full, standalone codex, or if it'll be the C:IA book plus whatever campaign add ons and random dataslates.

Well GW has always been known for making illogical decisions till now

If we were to evaluate their next theoretical move based on their new found business sense, then I reckon they will make a new SoB product line and a new Codex - this would allow them to expand on whatever is in the Imperial Agents book, as well as possibly introduce some new units to the game. Besides, GW has almost always released a Codex/ruleset with a new line of miniatures this year, so it seems logical from that point too.

I wonder if the Black Templar upgrade kit will start showing up in stores again or if it'll stay direct order. With them playing a big part in this book I'd imagine demand for the sprue will increase. It's not a bad one and gives some important bits like power axes.

The BT upgrade kit does have the problem in that the torso fronts are designed for the older marine kits, where the pegs and holes were reversed. Minor modelling change, but GW has updated pretty much the rest of the marine kits to the new style.

I'd hope for a proper Crusader Squad kit, since it has an entry in the codex, and BA got their own tactical squad box. A 10 man box with 5 in power armor and 5 in carapace would be awesome for templars.
