I think not the whole thing, or even at full price? I'll browse Ebay for the Fluff half of the books. If they keep up with their two book schtick for one Campaign part that is.

Sorta like how you constantly grab rumors from 4chan, Reddit, Facebook, and Foreign sites, then claim them as your own or take existing rumors add some vagueness so you can't be wrong. BoLS is total gak, but you ain't no Saint either.

If this was at all true, then she would have a much worse record. Instead, she has practically a spotless one. This doesn't indicate cherry picking from other sites to get it. What she does do is repost reliable stuff from other sites and leaks with attribution. That's not rumors, that's reporting.

Aaanyways. You used to do pretty well on accuracy yourself, Tasty, no need to sling arrows.

I totally respect ya Pretre and your rumor logging.

I agree the record is good, but the record doesn't account for timing very well and that is where Atia is constantly finding rumors twisting them to be more vague and then claiming them for himself as being first.

I guess wouldn't mind if he didn't constantly get high and mighty about rumors, everyone takes from everyone and very rarely is the credit given to the right person. I am sure he legitimately gets some good intel, but for the most part is piggybacking on other rumors. It is not like people with average rumor reader skills couldn't put two and two together with say 1ksons the minute Mark of the Wulfren dropped. I get it Atia enjoys bashing click bait sites like Spikeybits and BoLS and it is easy for everyone get behind that, but to pretend his gak don't stink is pretty hypocritical.

If they had some info source and is up there on the reliability meter, I don't care if all they is doing is just backing up the occasional grain of wheat that flies out with the chaff from other rumour mongers.
If they can get to the point where she is anywhere near 90% accurate I am 100% fine with them just commenting on whichever rumour to back or not.

It is not about "being first", it is "being right" that I care about. You say they only say thing that are obvious...well plenty of people have done that and been wrong.
Surely there has to be a bigger bee in your bonnet than someone else is getting some props for rumours?

Glory is fleeting. Obscurity is forever.

Cadia falls, and not a single Imperial Guard model bundle (or new model) to be found? What a rip.

I guess Cadia fell because all the Ad Mech, SoB, Wulfen, and Ultras got in the way of the IG's guns so they couldn't shoot the enemy without taking the chance of hit the fools standing in front of their artillery.

Ideally there is a nice new plastic range awaiting the 8th IG launch.

Cadia falling is a pretty good excuse to replace the Cadian-heavy IG line...

Who would replace them as the stock IG though? I could see either Catachan, or a more general kit with a few options.

Probably more Tempestus Scions. Anyway, I kind of hope this means Chaos will be getting new models soon. Not if the lore has long established that many other planets and regiments have patterned themselves after the Cadians - and, in fact, that stories can happen at any point along a ten thousand year time line.

Also, I think that would run the risk of ticking off a LOT of players who'd be left with incomplete collections, which means that any excuse for it is terrible - a lot of players, if they had to start their collection over again, simply wouldn't. And that's financially worse than keeping them on. Given all the effort that GW as of late has put into trying to lure old players back in (putting out a heap of things that veterans have been asking for for years), I'd like to think they're not that insane.

Personally I'd like for Vostroyans to take the forefront if GW was to can Cadians completely.

If it was up to me though, I'd make a kit for each of the well known IG forces (including Cadia) that aren't made by FW. The kit would be 10 bodies, 12+ heads, 12 legs (2 kneeling) 10 Lasguns and 1 of each special/heavy weapon as well as having a Tank & Sentinel Commander body and some arm options for the Tank Commander/Sergeant.

Bam. The only thing you'd need now is a Command Squad kit for each regiment.

Given the way GW'a design is trending back to the hyper-gothic look it started with, I think the Cadian's Starship Trooper-style looks a bit out of place. I could possibly see them doing new generic IG in this kind of fashion:

You're god damn right.

We really do need a new look for IG, not that the Cadian uniform is bad, just the other regiments are so much cooler its not even a competition. Slightly warhammer-fied modern American uniform or WW1 trecnhmen, Russian badasses with shirtless mustache banner bearers or even ye olde Zulu War British Empire men.

All you need is 2 boxes for each regiment (1 infantry+command sprue and 1 heavy weapon box) and boom, jobs a goodun.

Cadian's are fairly cool in my books. Saying that as a Tau fan. I do love me some tanks though even IRL. Though still more of a jet guy.

I think 2 cool things GW could do. Maybe even both.

1. I think GW should make a completely new and cool regiment to become the standard.

2. They could show the cadians as survivors who are bedraggled and just barely managing to survive sort of tanith style as they recruit from other regiments around the galaxy.

If they do both and there is a new regiment it would be cool to see a sub faction of IG that are Cadian Survivors. Or maybe some models incorporated into the wider new line.

Well, I bought a second-hand version of Codex: Sisters of Battle, from 40k's 2nd edition, long after it was playable, and I don't regret that purchase, so... yeah?

Crudace was the head rules writer for the Deathwatch codex (or at the very least he was the Game Dev the WD article and video discussing the rules for the releases credited with the rules).
Though Phil Kelly is still part of the studio, it's just that he's been heading the fluff side for the last few releases.

No sign of Vetock though.

And details wise all we learn is his weapons are "super powerful" and that Canticles of the Archmagos can give effects other than a 5++ (regaining Hull Points and increasing Ballistic Skill was mentioned) at it seems to get more powerful based on the number of units with Canticles of the Omnissah.

They say that what sets apart Cawl from other Mechanicus HQ is that Cawl is old, and Cawl LIKE TO DO THE SCIENCE THING!
On the rule department, he has weapons, one that shoots a beam that is good at destroying vehicle, another one which is an arc-scourge, a sub-top (?) version of the arc-claws. He also had FnP, Canticles of the Omnimessiah, and a rule that allows him to boost BS or give invul or repair HP from vehicles of any Imperium armies.

He says that Cawl has a Scryerskull, Arc Scourge, and Mechadendrite hive as wargear...that means nothing tho as it's just names.

For special rules he has both canticles rules and FNP. He's stated to have some kind of "melta beam attack that can shear a vehicle in half" and that the canticle of the archmagos affects all imperium vehicles, so he's a useful ally, but its effects are increased if he's with other cult units.

The canticles of the archmagos can add an invuln save, increase BS, and restore HP to vehicles in the area, among other things.

Generally quite vague, but it seems that cawl was designed to work as an ally unit, which makes sense since he's in a formation with 2 different races already.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

I do like thier steampunk vibe.
But let's be honest cadian guard are not going anywhere. GSC just piggybacked on the cadian sculpts.
Catachan is a poor selling direct only and basically void in the lore so GW wouldn't bet thier house in that line.
The fact creed didn't die nor the cadian 8th means they still have thier special snowflake unit. And cadia is a regimental hiveworld that most of thier units are out and about and not used for planetary defense forces.

No one ever made heads or tails over the page, though. We don't know what it all said, otherwise we'd know all his rules.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.
