Perry’s complaint was about the process by which Bobby Brooks, who would become the first openly gay student president in the university’s history, won the election last month. Brooks finished 750 votes behind Robert McIntosh, the son of a prominent GOP fundraiser, but McIntosh was disqualified after he was found to violate a campaign finance rule over some glow sticks used in a campaign video. But “Brooks did not win the election,” wrote Perry. “He finished second by more than 750 votes to one Mr. Robert McIntosh.

You really are just a troll aren't you. Putting you on Ignore.

Nah I can just find it ironic that Perry works for a man who lost the popular vote and then complains about someone losing with more votes to someone who had less votes

Political brinkmanship. What could go wrong?

Regarding Trump's Kids, I am fine with them getting protection. They should, even on vacation. I have no problem with the president taking vacations and the taxpayer paying for it.

I have a problem with the President having so many vacations after criticizing the last President for taking too many vacations. I also have a probelm with him saying on the campaign trail taht he will be too busy working than taking vacation, and then taking vacation. Make sense?

Assuming you don't hand grind your own wheat into flour and just eat mass produced pasta, it could be argued you're killing the planet by enabling companies to mass produce food with shoddy practices that contribute to global warming as opposed to growing your own food.

Not if they don't want to be colossal hypocrites.

How so? The Obama family went on many trips costing a pretty coin. Did you complain then? (ftr, I wanted Obama to vacay as much as he could to keep him away from the pen & phone )

I'm not complaining. Trump's loud whining about Obama & family going on vacation, and now he's on track to blow Obama's two-term total out of the water in the first half of his term, is colossally hypocritical. But, as the cool kids say, Trump's gotta Trump.

Oh, just get a room you two

Looks like Nunes is now apologizing for his actions. I doubt there will be any repercussions.

Meanwhile, Trump descends into Clintonesque word parsing. From his rambling Time interview:
"When I said wiretapping, it was in quotes. Because a wiretapping is, you know, today it is different than wire tapping. It is just a good description. But wiretapping was in quotes. What I'm talking about is surveillance."

Apparently he also believes he is mostly right because Brexit. Seriously.

Not really. A single deer has a much smaller carbon footprint than a cow that was raised for dairy or beef.

I also do not like killing "innocent" stuff. I do not hunt. Mostly because I do not want to sit in a tree at 4am freezing my balls off. Now, what is your definition of "innocent"? Are natural predators such as mountain lions and bears monsters because they kill these "innocent" animals for food? They could just eat grass and berries.

You are all over the place with your arguments here. You clearly know nothing about conservation, because if the deer population in my area was left unchecked, then they would end up killing themselves as well as many other species by overpopulating and then decimating the plants that the ecosystem needs to survive. They sound real "innocent" when you bring that up, right?

I'm sorry that (presumably as a Texan) you're embarrassed by Rick Perry, but the fact that the newly confirmed US Secretary of Energy feels it among his first priorities in office to weigh in on student elections seems pretty political to me.

If it makes you feel any better, since he's a a cabinet member, as an American I am equally embarrassed by Rick Perry now, too. He's our dumbass.

At this point, it is 100% on you and Sebster for continuing to provide a platform for him. You know exactly what's going to happen, and keep letting him hold that football, while he screams at you, "I'm not gonna yank it away this time, Charlie Brown, honest!"

No, this isn't the time you're going to have an honest debate with him. It won't be next time or the time after that or ever, ever ever.

I doubt it. Trump voters are living in a separate reality than the rest of us. They're fed news from places like Fox or Breitbart, where anything and everything is the fault of the Democrats and the Republicans are the plucky underdogs of the story.
