So is there or is there not a new crane kit coming in the future? or is that just speculation.

The crane is from a different, as of yet unseen kit.

First the pot, yeah, the injury table is a complete disaster.

Second the flower: these terrains are absolutely fantastic. Super modular and sturdy. Sad that i was only able to get 2 sets.

Injury table is great, can't figure the complaints. The Shadow War campaign has a definite endpoint, designed to last a day's worth of gaming. The system wasn't designed for a multi-month campaigns like Mordheim and Necromunda.

The only reason thinking of getting the gw pipes is because they match up to the new terrain. Anyone know how well 3rd party pipes match up? Like the mantic or the chemical factory for example.

I use PVP pipe from the local hardware store. You can break them down to 6 or 12 inch sections and base them accordingly. Use a couple of elbow, and O scale Railroad trestles from bridge section, or the sweet stuff from Woodland Scenics to prop up the sections. I'm looking hard at some of that additional pumping station, as well as some old Necromunda sectional walls and a wire box for something, too.

Here are a couple of sites, in regards to the terrain stuff. I use this stuff more then most people.

http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/ HOBBY LOBBY, or your local model railroad/ modeling shop has this stuff. Here is where you go for I beams, rivets, suspension sections, bridge support structures, flocking, base materials, etc...

http://www.ironhands.com/tehnolog.htm Tehnolog Sets available in your local game stores, or model shops.

https://www.tamiyausa.com/items/plastic-model-series-20/1-35-scale-military-miniature-12000/1-35-u-s-modern-elite-89772 Modern U.S. Soldiers set.

https://www.tamiyausa.com/items/plastic-model-series-20/1-48-scale-military-miniatures-10500/jerry-can-set-32510 The barrel and jerry can kit pictured from above, colored and fitted.

http://www.revell.com/model-kits/military/index.html Revell models are a close cheaper second to the Tamiya stuff. you can cut them up all day long, and use the kits bits for added scenery.

Thank you for the suggestion but I would like atleast SOME detail on my pipes and don't like the idea of having to sit down and start drilling and gluing plastic train rivets to achieve this. Thus why I'm crazy enough to consider the GW ones since they match.

Played our first game today. We had what I thought was a lot of terrain (pic below -- the aqueduct defines the play area edges by going diagonally across from corner to corner) though it still felt like my 9 Guard had a big advantage over my son's 11 Orks; shooting seemed very effective, whether as a direct shot or as overwatch, even though a lot of my attacks were at S3 vs T4.

Have they mentioned how long it will take to get a copy of the rule book once the pre orders go up ?

No one I know managed to get a copy and I would like to start playing sooner rather than later.

My dream is that crane is part of 3 ork terrain kits that fit the newTerrain with an industrial theme. Since the kit is modular you can easily replace the wall pieces with more orky slabs add a watch tower kit, crane kit, and garage kit that can easily play as either imperial or ork. Next they can do a chaos version add on.

Space Knights and WW2 and Vietnam era tanks and cranes are somehow an issue? Let's not mention the flamethrowers and gunpowder weapons and chainsaw swords.

It'd most likely be part of a vehicle kit but which faction, other than Genestealer Cult? I don't see any other faction with Imperial tech having that.

And I'll eat my own teeth if GW gets serious about genuine xenos terrain kits. It will definitely be matching Imperial world stuff.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I don't want to read 100 pages, so are Sisters rules out? Are they good? Worth it?

Anyone have downloadable/printable Roster Sheets? Don't see any on Warhammer Community.

Thanks! No leaks about them, I assume. Except maybe the price of the rules?

The rules for Sisters will be released as a free PDF. They will also be included in the stand-alone rulebook, which you can pre-order on the same day.

http://natfka.blogspot.fr/2017/04/kill-team-roster-sheets-for-shadow-wars.html
https://thedeathjungle.blogspot.fr/2017/04/shadow-war-armageddon-card-template-all.html

It lost some cell spacing/formatting when I imported from excel, but here's a basic spreadsheet I threw together that you're welcome to use (and customize):

If people are that anxious about it, I'll spend some time and do up an attractive SWA roster sheet. I make a lot of cheat sheets and rosters for various games.

EDIT: Here ya go, another roster. This one intended for back-to-front printing.

I put a request for roster sheets on the GW Facebook page. They thought it was a good idea, so hopefully we will see them soon.

Aye, really small ones though. Wouldn't be too much of a hassle to put out a copy of the A4 format one found in the rulebook.
