While the average cost is beyond my reach for squads, it's really nice to see someone finally doing proper third party support for Space Elves. One of the most ignored factions by GW...and oddly no one thought to pick up the ball and run with it.

There are soooo many gaps in the Space Elf line that could use some filling. Love seeing these Scorpions, but alas it's one of the only Aspects I have 20+ already done and don't need any - will probably try to grab a couple Exarchs as I dislike mine at the moment.

Simple things like some alternate weapon arms for Space Elf militia would be welcome - things to make close combat fighters, etc. A lot of room to be the only manufacturer paying attention to Space Elves.

Hot stuff. Artel are currently very well received in the Ork community because so many players are purchasing their not-Mega Armoured Warboss model. Its a good idea for them to focus on our market while there is so much interest.

That can't be right. Those orks actually look good.

I'm all for more good looking xenos figures. Having helmet options for the Farseer makes me much more interested in getting one.

The Ork choice is bizarre, if only because Orks are probably the most-supported aftermarket line beyond Imperial stuff. So many companies produce aftermarket Ork stuff. But, Artel does nice work, so I guess it's nice having "more" Ork stuff?

Its probably because Artel realise there is a massive market for decent looking Orks. Ork players have gone mad for their Megaboss. I suspect it's a reaction to the market.

A simple selection of Space Elf guns and swords (mainly guns) would be great to see from some manufacturers. There are a lot of good AOS Elfen models that would be nice starters for Eldar but getting a decent stand-in for a Shuriken Pistol or Rifle is a pain.

Eh...sorta? Everyone will go aftermarket for any character models, that's obvious. It's cool they're doing Orks for Ork players, but it's hardly a scant market for Orks (particularly considering their massive plastic line from GW available to kit-bash, etc.). The Ork market is hardly underserved in resin (entire third party manufacturers are based on Ork minis, etc.)

and that's because people buy them (even stuff I consider fairly poor, let alone great stuff like this)

Exactly. The existence of so many thriving companies providing third party Ork miniatures proves there is a market for the models.

And these orks are quite different than most other options, they have way less cartoony proportions.

Is it just me or was anyone else who scrolled down that shapely strolling figure expecting it to end with tactical combat high heels?

Also, I thought that the tea sipping commissar survived the Great Purge of 2018? He was available with his faithful assistant just a few months ago on the website but is now gone. Did he really need a resculpt so soon? Artel, if you need suggestions for new figs, I could PM you!

I think GW stays off Artel W's back, simply because they might end up hiring his team one day. Because he does much better resin.

If you mean sculpts then yes...if you just mean resin production, I haven't found a third party company that does it worse than GW/Forgeworld, so...
