Who is Aeris? Just try to google her - she is a one of most famous japanese game character. Lots of people do not ever played Final Fantasy series, but most of them know her. You will have a chance to know more, when the FF7 remake hits the shops all around the Planet. So... Here she is - Aeris, the flower girl, the only bright spot in Midgar, city of unsaturated colours and dim lights that leave no shadows.
The base was my first serious experience with airbrush. The posters are printed (i can draw this, but... i think, you get the point =)) The street lamp and window lights were slightly photoshopped on some pics. Originally, they are heavily shadowed and can`t be so bright.
Now, about the figure. Aeris is 65mm tall, but her features are more like that of 54mm, at least, i wanted somewhat realistic look. This is the first female face, ever sculpted by me, and i like how it comes. Lots of this made of Tamiya quick type putty.

no, i do not planning a serie, but i`ve seen some people, sculpting cloud, barret and red 13 in 1/35 scale.
personally, i really dissapointed by reactions in FF fangroups and overall reaction of world painting community, that was rather cold. maybe, i`ll return to ff characters later and in larger scale.

Exactly! The term "pearls before...", well, I won't finish that because the expression is more insulting than I mean to be, but it gets my point across: I have to assume that it's because people who don't know enough about something (like painting) can't always appreciate just how much skill and talent goes into it, so when confronted by a fine example they can't appreciate it and they simply shrug and move on.

Crazy people wouldn't dig it. I think if I were to give any feedback it might be that the MFC banner draws my eyes to it a little to much, where the focus should clearly be Aeris. Maybe if they (along with the bank sign) were a bit roughed up and dirty to blend into the building more?

But the overall composition is good, and the star of the show Aeris is fantastic. Do you have any wip shots?

Fans hating me for what i dared to step out from big-eyed anime doll concept of Aeris, and others just not so impressed, as i wanted them to be. Personally, i really happy with that project, but if that was some space marine chap or another bust of mine, or even that lesbian girl from overwatch, i`ll be getting A LOT MORE attention. For a man, who tries to rise his patreon, this is really important.

well, this is just not true. just look at Ben Komet`s patreon with those thousands of bucks =)
i raise mine patreon page from almost zero with just single Chaos Maiden bust, and sadly, my Aeris can not be compared with her. Well, i will surely find the truth out with one of my next space marine projects, hah =)
