Thank you for the great review, Matt!

So did I understand correctly that there are generic relics anyone can take, not just chapter specific ones?

Are the transports still segragated between primaris/non-primaris?

I too would like to hear more about primaris characters, do they get proper options? Can characters have inceptor jump gravis armour?

Check the power levels, many of them have gone up, even on units that didn't change.

We can safely assume that all those new stratagems and CT come with an increased cost for the models.

Doesn't even go that far. Imagine you have a detachment that binds everything together with keyword Imperium (I am assuming Battle-forged here). If you have a bunch of Guard (sorry, Militarum), some Sisters, a gaggle of Ultramarines, and one Salamanders Dreadnought, you can use the Flamecraft Salamanders Stratagem on the latter simply by paying the CP. You can then use the Scions of Guilliman Stratagem on an Ultramarines squad.

It really is wide ranging - so long as you have a suitable unit in the force, you can use the Stratagem.

Indeed, no change - but you don't really need AP on those guns

Thanks for answering questions.

What are the rules for the Tome of Malcador? And, are there any bonuses for upgrading to a chapter master other than what was already shown in the index?

Tome gives you an extra psychic power. As for Chapter Masters, I may be going blind, but I am not seeing the option...

I was able to read most of it after zooming in.

on the forum. Obviously

You can barely read it, but it would seem that reivers can indeed deepstrike / infiltrate.

Grav Chutes allow them to be deployed anywhere more than 9" of an enemy, grapple hooks are a bit more complicated, but it seems they allow the unit to deploy within 6" of a board edge and 9" away from an enemy.
I think they allow movement shenanigans but I'm not sure.

Seriously i want to know what rowboat did to the codex structure.

Yes, but what about chapter tactics? What's the restriction on them?

Maybe them being Assault 2 en-mass makes them better, but I think I will still give them a pass for the standard Bolt Rifle or Stalker Bolt Rifle.

Can reivers take stalkers though? I didn't see that listed in their entry.

Idk, I was asking because he mentioned the Intercessors being able to have Stalkers, Autos or Standard.

But what about Chapter Tactics rather than Stratagems?

are the new 5 man units considered the full unit or something or is there now 120 marines per company?

Are the new interceptor armor just like centurion armor that existing assault squads just jump into?

A hundred-ish marines (if you include the two Dreadnoughts and ignore characters, exactly 100!).

As for the new armour, they are all kind of melded together under 'Close Support' or 'Fire Support'. Don't expect things to be quite so rigid now. Guilliman seems to be more relaxed in his old age.

As before, but just noticed that Primaris Captain and Primaris Captain in Gravis Armour are two different things. That is new, right?

There are indeed 'generic' relics. If you get what I mean.

Yup, Marines are still big on segregation. But the Primaris are hitting back and not letting Marines Classic into their Repulsor.

As for characters, looks like you just get what comes with the model.

Grav-chutes are indeed a thing for Reivers. Grapnek aunchers allow for vertical movement and for popping up near a table edge mid-game. Grav-chutes are standard deep strike.

Sorry, I went off on a tangent there (end of the week, give me a break ). Every unit in a detachment does indeed need to be of the same chapter Keyword to get the use of the tactic.

You mean the Las-Talon? It is a 24" twin-Lascannon. That is all.

No the fat lascannon on the top of the repulsor. the one that gets bonus to hit if the random stubber does a thing.

Is that it? Sounds a bit bland for a new weapon. Is it cheaper than a standard twin lascannon?

I'm trying to read the text on the Crusader Helm but it is a little small, any clarity on what it is would be great. Also do you happen to have the warlord trait I'm interested in the BT one if you have it, thanks!

the Mothership...

@MongooseMatt

Thanks for posting that. Do primaris squads get more options for the squad and/or the sergeant in the codex compared with the index or starter set rules?
