Same bro. Was always too expensive before. I was planning to use sprue and cover with a layer of Skulls but with 340 to work with, it can be entirely skulls.

I guess Bloodletters can have their skulls taken and not sent back into the immaterium because Skulls for the Skull Throne!
Makes as much sense as anything else Warhammer. Maybe it only works when they're decapitated?
On second thought, maybe it also works on all daemons?

If they were summoned into or possessed a mortal host a Demon could twist the body into a more demonic form. When the Demon is "killed" it would then leave behind a corpse.

It is far more likely that Khorne demons are all skull. And blood.

I'm glad there aren't 339 skulls. That wouldn't be enough. Also 341 would be too many. Looks like they nailed it!

I wish they would have released a pack of 680 skulls, I don't think 340 is enough for me.

I'm going to assume that daemons which manifest by possessing a host then mangling the host's body into their own shape (or something similar, like Nurgle's Rot victims becoming Plaguebearers) have an actual skeleton, while ones that manifest directly from the warp just dissolve into ectoplasm.

Meh on the bracken. That's not how I imagine bracken to look. They should have named it random spiky space plant instead.
Might be the picture and perhaps it looks better at a different angle, but for now I'll stick with just skulls.

I wonder if only the vines will be pvc or if all three might be just as kind of a group release thing.

According to the WD photo on the first page, the vines and the bracken are flexible.
So the skulls will be normal plastic. Well, I guess the real question is whether that's in fact true, or if it's Chinese plastic like those basing kits. The skulls on those are hardly as crisp as the ones in the Skeleton Warrior box. But so far we have no indication (that I'm aware of anyway) that the new skulls will be anything but a regular plastic kit.

The "Chinese plastic" is still polystyrene like the miniature kits, though.

Yeah,
Any lack of detail is down to either the master or the mold, not the material.

Yeah, I know. I'm not concerned about the material. Quality, on the other hand...
And it was just a thought. As I said, so far we have no indication that it'll be anything but the usual GW plastic we know and love.

The master of the skulls I spoke of is the same CAD file as the one that makes crisp skulls in the skeleton box.
I assume a less precise, outsourced mold for bases and accessories is simply cheaper for GW.
