Why won't CMON just sell off the IP for this great game and miniature line already?!?

I mean, clearly they aren't going to do anything else with it (or the also excellent Dark Age game), are they?

If they sell the game, and then the new company goes on to have great success with it, which member of the CMON team would be left looking like a dunce? He or she is probably the reason.

Anyone know where I could get WoK bases for my own conversions?

Someone said that some of the models got ported to another game. Anyone know more about that? I'd look into that game just to see if they have any models I am missing.

I have seen Ironeyes on ebay occasionaly, Last time I think it sold for $75. I havent seen Dame Allison on ebay though.

No Idea on where to get the bases. The bases were the thing i liked least about the minis and used to buy the confrontation 30mm bases from Miniature market when they were available. But sadly those bases are no longer available, at least not from Miniature Market.

The only game i know of that had Wrath of Kings models was Zombicide Black Plague... it had a version of Duke Anton. And regular Zombicide had a union pig guy and a Nasier Elyanna Heska cosplay survivor.

How many of their bases are you looking to get? (They’re the deep dish bases, tight?). I’ve been gluing all my WoK minis to Renedra or Reaper bases, so I should have some of them in a baggie somewhere...

Other than ebay I think your stuck with Minature Market as they picked up all the remaining stock of WoK when CMON cleared their warehouse

if you really want Dame Allison your best bet is probably the Kingdom Death Night Market group on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/1287754827958340/

lots of collectors/sellers hang out there and somebody may be prepared to sell you one, but expect to have to pay decent money for it as it's now a rare collectable

as for the bases if you mean the sculpted bases don't think they ever reached retail, if you just mean the basic deep plastic rounds I think you'll need to pick up starters or similar from minature market whenever they have a big sale, I don't know anybody else who does them

(although the cmon/micro arts studio plastic inserts KS bases were, I think, similarly deep so you could try looking for those on ebay too)

I have an odd assortment of WoK that I picked up for a very good price years ago. Sadly none of the two named figures you're looking for which surprises me as I thought I had all the CMoN/KD cross over stuff. Lots of Hadross though, I'll send a PM as I have stuff MM doesn't have for that faction.

That is pretty cool. That just got me unreasonably excited... It doesnt have the book 2 units but still pretty cool.

Yes, good find this. Goes to show there's still plenty of love out there for some amazing models.

I still wish I had backed this back in the day. I pulled my pledge at the last minute because I had 'tons of other games', and have regretted it since.

I should dust this off, I went all in and ended up playing like 5 games before the next big thing arrived, this was back in the day when there was an amazing value miniatured KS every month or two.

Every time I see a new post in this thread my heart beats faster .....

Trust me, this game is awesome. I love 40K, but gotta wait like an HOUR for my opponent to figure out all his moves. I get shot by everything before I can counter. Not so with Wrath of Kings. Army creation is a snap, just shuffle some cards, love this game.

Still, I suppose it is nice to see that there's still a few of us still out there...

Hopefully one day it will escape from the CMON graveyard and rise again somewhere where it will be appreciated (along with Dark Age)
