That will make 11 codexes for this year. Not bad, that would put us about half way through.

Honestly they should just dump ba, da and sw in one weekend given the high overlap.

Not a reveal as big as the last one of this kind of seminars, but nice enough! That barbarian is ace! I'll probably prefer a more buff woman but, thats very nice still.

On GW official site it says Chaos deamons are kicking off 2018. So I don't think so.

Edit
Nothing interesting as usual. Ah well always next time.

Edit
The skaven look nice.

Is not like Chaos Barbarians go to war covered in plate armour

She has got about the same amount of armour as the male version. In fact she is wearing more clothes than him.
I really hope this is a sign that we are getting a full Darkoath army.

They called her out on the AoS Facebook as:

"Darkoath Warqueen"

I think you might be spot on as to a Darkoath army. It lets them move from the Slaves to Darkness and make something uniquely Chaos but not overtly Chaos, for lack of a better term.

I wonder if she could be the "powerful new hero" for the Chaos Grand Alliance we were promised for the Malign Portents event.

I assume the 'bumps' are an attempt at modeling a scar.

WarhamCom wrote:Meanwhile, in the Mortal Realms, something dark is gathering, and the age of hope is drawing to a close.

Really? Wasn't everything awful when the game launched and the 'age of hope' just started a couple months ago? Are they going to settle into the setting or just keep hitting timeskips?

$30 for 5 skaven, great.

Dark and Blood angels as separate books again. No surprise, no excitement, but still disappointed. Chaos daemons next year- as long as doesn't have wacky random charts for items and random effects each turn, it pretty much has to be an improvement. Though the return of undivided would be nice...

Are they really recycling all those covers?

They announced the 'Malign Portents' event for 2018 back at NoVA.

They're for Shadespire and come with 60 cards.

Whether they announced it today or at NOVA, that doesn't really answer my question. AoS launched with everything being awful in all the Realms, but then Sigmar Sigmarines back the Sigmar gates between realms and drives back the forces of chaos that had basically won.

People were apparently building/reoccupying cities, dwarfs stopped hiding, and it vaguely looked like they were going to start building a setting at some point.

And now... stomp? Already? Couldn't they build out the setting, and make reasons for interesting conflicts before wrecking the 'age of hope' concept?

I know what they're for.

And I know roughly what the card printing industry costs (assuming they're good quality cards from Belgian printers like the original MtG cards were, which I don't actually know). The shadespire expansion packs are wildly over priced for 4 orcs, 7 skellies or 5 skaven.
The presence or absence of a deck of cards doesn't change that.

Why would they combine Dark and Blood angels but leave 'chaos' 'goofy looking chaos' and 'goopy chaos' different books? That would be stupid.
