Malevolence I assume? Although it looks like FW may have had a change in direction on the art front? Looking forward to seeing the proper legion list for the BA of course. But also interested to see the Demons, especially with a Wrath and Rapture box on pre order.

I really hope they don't abruptly change the art direction for malevolence. This art looks like a lot of the generic art they outsource for the rest of their projects.

I mean, FW mostly does shoop'd photos of minis, not artwork. Strange direction to suddenly take.

Maybe it’s a daemon of some kind for the new book?

Doesn't necessarily have to be all new - a bundle perhaps. The artwork has the Angels in MKIII armour.

Surely in that case it'd be a plastics box and therefore not Forgeworld.

That’s not a bad shout; they’ve discontinued most of the resin Mk III, so a new box set with the plastics would make sense.

I like the style for the axe, but that's a pretty mediocre paint job, and, other than a decently nice pose, not a very impressive model. I feel like most of the wolf stuff isn't incorporated very well in the armor.

Yeah, no idea what is going on with that. The overuse of ‘fix it’ filters on the photo isn’t helping any either.

Gonna be honest the model i converted looks better, could just be that fething awful paintjob though.

Ah, OK - the chainsaw does look a bit rough. Karla von Kill was sculpted by Tom Hugues and painted by Borja Garcia (according to FB) - not sure about Helmut.

Some more great paint jobs from them, they could have used a decent cast of the chainsaw theres a massive mold slip on it :/ also if they are production mins, the minis and some heads have plenty of 3d print lines left on!

Agree that's not an especially flattering model of Helmut, and the chainsaw looks pretty bad. I guess you could replace it with an Ork chainsword pretty easily but you shouldn't really have to. Karla is nice though.

Well the Escher set is pretty weak in my opinion,
most of the heads are... meh.

The idea was great, the sculpt execution... not so.

The other sets are way better, even if I am not a fan of the
new cawdor design as a whole.

Head sets are a great concept, I hope they will keep
making sets for other plastic kits.

Any chances we get a (smiling) deamonette heads set ?

Genestealer Cult heads/weapons work really well with the Cawdor bodies. I've seen a few examples on Facebook. It looks really natural.

That Helmut model is awful. Most of the heads are really cool, but the Escher ones are pretty underwhelming.

I'm using a lot of Cawdor and Orlock bodies in my cult and the hybrid heads work really well on both. Next up are conversions with the other gangs to see how they fare
