I wonder if the weapon is unique to the Rex, or could the rumoured Preceptor class be a non SC version of this load out?

The novels make mention of some houses having access to one of a kind ancient relics like laser swords and fusion colliders instead of regular reapers and battle cannons.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was just an option to him alone.

I like it. The weapons look cool (is the shoulder mounted auxiliary weapon a lascannons?!). The new parts all look pretty neat. I only have two regular sized Knights, so this guy looks like he will make a nice third.

Looks like it could be—it certainly seems like it might have that angled flash suppressor/barrel tip thing that las cannons have. I suppose it might also be a multi-laser though...

That new head option is phenomenal.

I hope we get more close combat weapons on the new knight. I'm excited for this new codex.

…..The model even comes with a miniature of Sir Hekhtur, on foot and enthroned, the first time we’ve seen a Knight pilot model in plastic. You can even use him in your games – if his steed is slain, Sir Hekhtur may fight on with his archaeotech pistol!...

I've seen D.va players get killstreaks without her Meka. Just a thought.

On another note, I seriously hope they will start making pilots for the knights. Bonus points if you can force them out a la Infinity's EXPEL program.

I just hope the pilot rule isn't specific to just that one Character, would be a bit of a letdown. As it stands, I intend to put a Van Saar model on every single Knight/Knight Base that I will be buying.

So, this new basic knight++, whatever the full armiger kit is, and the really big Castellan/whatever variant that box makes.

Is that it for releases, was there to be another Knight chassis on the field? Is this the 'preceptor'

I like the new Knight character - it's a neat idea. I do hope though that the newer parts filter down into the normal Knight. The only thing which bugs me is the Space Wolf-matching heraldry.

Two weeks rumored until Codex: Battletech! Huzzah!

I wonder if any small support units will be included or if it will be a codex of only Lords of War. It doesn't seem like you'd have enough for a codex with a handful of Knights and Armigers.

Is there any belief or rumor that the Forge World Knights will be included in this codex?

Multiple sites are saying 10 data sheets.

So, unless they are moving to a data sheet per chassis, I think we’re only going to see Knights.
