I'm of the opinion that repentia should just have a white robe, like what IRL penitents traditionally wore.

I already have a sizable collection of Sisters, I'm hopeful we will see new units and new weapons rather than plastic versions of what we already have so I have a reason to properly expand the army rather than just replace stuff. That might seem churlish, but as a long time Sisters player I want to be able to spend big on our plastic release.
If they don't make plastic units of old stuff either those won't get rules in codex or you won't get new units either and whole release is hoax as no sisters comes.
They will NOT release new units just for old players. Nor are they expecting new players to buy metals.

Sure, lets get rid of lobotomized slavery and planet annihilation weapons as well. They are so tacky and violent.
Really though, think about what actually repentia is.
Go beyond the bondage, somehow in a dedicated religous zealot cult where you dedicate your entire life to you can still be found wanting even if you spend every waking moment in prayer and work in the name of the Emperor. As a concept i found it fascinating and very 40k.
So i hope they stay, i don't care for the bondage that much to be honest, but as a concept i find them fascinating.
The concept of Repentia is fine. But the current execution isn't.

New starter set. Sisters vs Black Legion or Emperor's Children. Plastic Abaddon or Lucius. New CSM sculpt. Plastic Noise Marines. Plastic Justaerin Terminators or new Indomitus Terminators with a Slaaneshi upgrade sprue (and separate upgrade sprues for other Legions on the webstore).
Do this and GW will be rolling in cash. Chaos still needs so many updates.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but the definition of naked that I'm aware of means no clothing. Not clothing made up of rags that you've been forced to wear after having your armour confiscated for a slight (real or perceived) and then told to go and die to make up for that slight.

Apparently GW confirmed Chaos Space marines will be updated before Sisters (so end of 2018 hopefully) but wouldn't answer questions relating to Abaddon, Fulgrim, Angron.....

Daughters of Khaine wear about as much clothing as the Repentia and no one is complaining.
Actually, someone probably is complaining, but the point stands.

I hope they go batsh*t crazy with the designs, so they are grimdark, heavily religious and not sterile - in an INQ28 fasion and close to all those black and white artworks we used to see in old editions of the rules
I like the current SoB infantry range visualy, but I don`t like its price and the fact that it`s metal.. Staying true to aethetic and expanding on it would be the best way to go, IMHO!
I`m very hyped about the fact, that it is now confirmed and we`re not being HL3ed here, and can`t wait for the images of minis to start popping up
Plastic and dynamic repentia and penitent engine... Please...

If the Ironstrider/Ruststalkers style of designing will be applied to new SoBs and their tech- that`s the best we can hope for

Crazy naked zealots/berzerkers are a common fantasy (and to some extent, historical) trope. GW grimdarks it up in the faction that is all about crazy zealots. Is the problem just because they’re female?

Apologies - I actually meant to add a comment on there to make it clear I was joking, shouldn't be getting distracted by work
For the record, I think the new Khaine models are great and I'm very happy for the Sisters players that there's some light at the end of the tunnel. Just hope the new stuff meets their expectations/hopes.

I can't imagine any radical re-conceptualization of the traditional Sororitas aesthetic, it just wouldn't make sense. Even Repentia are likely to stay mostly the same, bar perhaps a more "sensible" approach to "Let's not waste resources on practical armor" suicide nuns.
The biggest issue will be the scale creep. I don't own Saint Celestine and the Geminae Superia, or even Canoness Veridyan, nor the relevant miniatures for comparison, but I imagine they'd be larger. Something in the ballpark of the difference between classic and current Escher gangers, perhaps?

Interesting news, I love the aesthetic of the current Sisters model line so I hope they don't mess it up by trying to make them too politically correct.
The recent Sisters of Silence models were really cool though, so I'm sure these will turn out great.

As exciting as plastic SOBs sound, the Internet will need plenty of time to rage about their sculpts. I don't want to have this release held up by discussions on whether or not the Sisters should wear stillettos.

Arco-flagellents aren't thrusting their chests out, or taking up curious dancing poses to show off a feminine physique. Though if the Repentia are covered up, I see no reason why Arco-Flagellents can't wear more than their electric Y-fronts.

They also apparently talked about a Slaaneshi Marines vs Sisters starter box, which is such a goddamned eye-roll-inducing piece of childishness. I'd prefer a Necrons vs Sisters box. Still, having Sisters in a starter box either way would be amazing.
The whines about "oh noes the internet will have debates wah" or "political correct wah whine wah" are just kinda stupid. The internet always has these debates. As for "politically correct", I, too, hope GW doesn't feel pressured by the "political correctness" arguments-- the ones whining about wanting to keep the status quo instead of trying to improve things because it hurts their fee-fees.

Again, I'd rather any faction other than Sisters serve as GW's labrat in figuring out how to market something prospectively 1.5 years or more before release.
So: Don't check the sneak peaks. You will then be in 100% exact same situation as you would have been now. Your models and rules won't change either way. But at least this way some people get enjoyment from getting sneak peeks ahead of time.

I'll just be happy knowing the supposed models they're working on are, in fact, real this time. Because the way it was worded, all the previous times they said "we're working on it, we're just having problems with some parts of the minis" was nothing more than bs.

Core GW employees said it. In practical matters, that's the same thing as GW itself doing it, as such employees are legally agents of GW (GW itself being a corporation, aka a legal fiction).

There was an interview that mentioned some intricacies of plastic production interfering with an element of SoB design. Sleeves I believe.
