Here's a new Kickstarter for some cool looking sci fi soldiers and vehicles. I think I like the jetbike the best These minis are all sculpted by Bob Naismith, an all around nice fella and swell guy. He's been sculpting for ages, and made some of the first space marines for GW ever.

Those bikes are pretty cool. Not sure if I want a one or two person model.

You should've mentioned this is being run by Mr. Naismith himself, or maybe you did, and I just didn't see it.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I did, and it's in the big pic too!

Gonna get a couple of the bikes myself. I like the 2-man bike, but I think the solo bike looks cooler.

The Kickstarter is not very well set up for anyone who wants to mix and match. I didn't see any add on pricing, only prices for self contained pledges.

The bikes are by far the most exciting elements of this campaign. The troops look good, but they aren't superior enough to extant competition to trigger a purchase for me.

I'd be interested in splitting a pledge or something. I don't really want more than one of either type of bike, but there is enough savings in buying the pledge for multiples to make the split price worth while for me.

I really really like those soldiers. I wonder what the scale comparison for them will be. Hopefully as tall as a GW IG soldier, but more realistically proportioned.

Too bad it's UK vs US - I don't pledge outside the USA; with all the hassles of KS, compounded by global delivery, I think I wait for retail.

The bikes *are* nice, although I'm not sure what I'd use one for. Maybe I could look to get one via Brookhurst in a year or so?

I think the troops are nice enough, but nothing special - not obviously better than DreamForge Games plastic infantry, for example.

I haven't really had any issues with British Kickstarters. However, Brookhurst has a really hard time getting in some stuff from Europe, such as the Frostgrave plastics, Antares, and the various boutique minis.

For me, the troopers look too much like the excellent plastic GCPS from Mantic or the more stylish MERCS minis to come out favorably from the comparison.

The bike guys look like they could fit in with an anime-inspired range or a superhero inspired range (they look like Genoshan hover bikes), or even with your generic Baen Books cover illustration sci fi troopers. They are versatile, distinctive, and lack overwhelming competition.

Those bikes are incredibly appealing.
The troopers' guns look too thin to be durable in resin. I'd be a lot more comfortable if they were in metal. I don't like that it looks like the whole heavy weapon squad is doing a football kneel circle.

I like the bikes a lot, and I'm a big fan of the trooper design (except the guns), but I've found it best to let other people fund creators' first KS foray. Especially since the discount on offer here doesn't feel amazing.

Genosha bikers were what they were reminding me of too- specifically Jim Lee X-Tinction Agenda era designed ones.

Is there any mix n' match info there? I wouldn't mind picking up a sampling, so yeah Bob, we can figure something out.

I've had no issues backing British campaigns either, for whatever that's worth. Shipping usually isn't too bad either for a box of figures, especially in light of CMON's latest shipping debacles.

X-Tinction Agenda is exactly what I was thinking of. It's like I used the focused totality of my psychic powers on you.

I didn't see any mix and match info at all. I'll try sending a message via Kickstarter.

i'd like the jeip & a couple or more of the 1-man bikes. Will have to keep an eye on it to see if add-ons appear.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

I really like these! I am hoping the weapons won't be too small and enemic looking when you get the miniatures

Those trooper weapons are too thin for gaming imo, but the prints look good otherwise.

I got a reply from Bob Naismith about add ons or mix and match pledging: he will ask his wife and get back to me.

Nice designs, but they're really quite small compared to a lot of things, and resin is a negative for me.

Very nice stuff, I like kneeling troops, they look very realistic in posing and body language.

He responded in a way, just not directly with you. He included it on the main page as well as in some of the updates. Basically yes you can mix and match.

++++ALERT++++
I want to make it as easy as possible for everybody to get what they want so if you want to add infantry AND/OR vehicles to your initial pledge then please add the base cost without shipping to your pledge and we shall sort it out afterwards!!

Ah. That opens up some possibilities. Are the reptilian troops the same price as the human troops?

That line made my morning.

Those were some good comics.

The guns are just too small for me to go in on this one, as much as I like the designs, I just don't think the guns will show up visually on the tabletop.
