That's dreadful. Hopefully CMON are able to replace the defective cards, and work with their printer to ensure better quality work for future projects.

Miniaturemarket must have bought all the stock that CMON had on hand for ASOIAF, they have kickstarter items and boxes of all sorts of kits on hand.

Terrain might be the only issue there, with the odd scale, but that's not too big of...an obstacle?

That DoFP set is amazing.

Also Apocalyspe is being upgraded to Anti-Hero in the AoA set, so that's awesome!

I'm really loving all the stuff coming down from this Kickstarter, yeh it's expensive, but there's a LOT here that no other game is really offering for tabletop experience. Only game coming close is MCP.

I have a theory that next year's KS is going to be FF/Inhumans to finish out a lot of the earth based heroes for United.

Also very happy for the Uncanny Pledge because that allows people to just dump all the base expansions into one big bundle and not worry about managing which expacs you need to have selected.

KS finished out with 5.9m and they gave us the Marrow Stretch Goal for breaking their previous KS record.

This was a real good KS. SO many characters and with new Anti-Hero options we can see more cool things in the future in addition to all the cool stuff we got for this KS.

May 2022 is a long time away, haha.

MIniatureMarket got the newest releases in for ASOIAF, Mother of Dragons was almost sold out already.

US is only just getting Mother of Dragons? Ouch, no wonder. Do they have Greyjoys yet?

I just wish I knew how Mother of Dragons worked in 1.7. I don't have any infantry for my Targs so I need to buy a unit to run Danny and I have no idea what to get.

I feel like so many awesome characters connected with the FF might not see the light of day now.

And a Galactus model would've been nice too!

Though he'll probably still show up, if there's another MARVEL UNITED KS.

But if there is, thoughts on who it might center around?

They could still do it, it'd just end up being something like Future Foundation with sculpts inspired by those costumes, Spider-Man over Human Torch, and likely adding in a lot of Inhuman and Cosmic support to the game.

I wonder if they've ever thought for going for another IP for this game (still comic based). Would be dope to see things like IDW, Image, Boom!, and DC.

Stormcrows would be a fluffy choice, but we've seen Bolton Blackguard spoiled and they seem like a good bunker unit thanks to their good armor and morale.

The 1.7 rules situation is certainly getting tiresome. They need to release all the units asap so people can actually play with fully updated factions.

Just echoing the above that Stormcrows are very fluffy to run with Dany.

Rose Knights and R'hllor Faithful just got restocked on the Asmodee store and they're appearing back in the US again. I don't imagine Europe is further behind.

But yes, the stock issues are going to kill this game more than anything else.

Due to a paper shortage in China, the song of ice and fire revamp physical card packs have been delayed so they are moving ahead with a digital release so that people can start using them straight away.

Main take away I had from those is that Daario now has a Targaryen commander version as well as a neutral one.

The 1.6 units will remain in the non-test version of the app until the card packs are released to give players the option of what version of the game they wish to play.

Nice, might be the excuse I need to finally get my Daario painted up.

Just happy to see the new cards and rules finally being rolled out, there is a very dedicated community for the game that has been waiting a fair while.

Lots of great changes to tactics cards from what I can tell. Even some changes since they were spoiled during the visions in the flames series of articles.

For example, the FreeFolk deck looks much more useable, and it looks like Lannisters got toned down just a bit.

I'm very hopeful that this edition will take the game from great to god-tier.

Looking good so far. Excited for the flurry of discussion tomorrow. Curious what all I'm going to have to add to my shopping list.

The update is now live and contains a lot of new units as well.

Stormcrow are now also both neutral and Targaryen units.

They're just saying they'll give more information later and, apparently, say it's coming soon.

So a kickstarter to advertise a product already in production and on it's way to retail perhaps?
