I'm VERY surprised that CMON hasn't dropped their ALL-IN pledge amount for DCeased.

I think if they end up not doing an All-In, I'm probably going to just stick with the base pledge and buy the rest in two years at local retail.

I know this campaign isn't running as fast as others have in the past, but that seems to be mainly down to "No Zombie Mode" and DC being far less casual based than Marvel.

We shall see.

They posted it a few minutes after you posted you get 1 of the smaller expansions free plus some exclusive bits.

Spoiler:

I was JUST coming here to say: "They made a joke outta me!"

Looks good. 400 is a chunk, but a free expansion and effectively free stretch goals is decent.

Unless I have missed them, they haven't included characters for Jon Kent Superman or Damien Wayne Batman which seems like a big omission considering they are the main characters in most of the Dceased stories.

It says that you can order the two new models separately.

Interesting that they are using Gamefound rather than Kickstarter, a first for CMON I believe.

wouldn't be surprised if it's to minimise the awareness of the 're-release' aspect of things by kickstarter backers. If they think they might get a second chance to buy something there will be less incentive to buy a massive KS bundle (even if CMON really aren't going to do this sort of thing again). It also lets them try out gamefound as a platform with something less important (a lot of the costs have already been paid), and where they've already got KS sales data

With free shipping within the USA.

The game seems to have gotten an overall good rap - what are people's thoughts on it here? Shipping worldwide this time, so I may be interested in this version of the campaign.

Well, there's also a lot less on offer in terms of the KS bonus freebie daily unlock characters for a very similar price - a few of those paid extra boxed expansions worth in fact, making it substantially more expensive.

Probably also a contributor. Along with a lot of people very recently gotten a giant box or two (or more) worth of Superhero Zombie Game(tm)

All fair. I went Omega pledge because I'm a huge DC fan and some of these late game Stretch Goals have been great. I know there's fatigue for Zombicide right now but this game still isn't dropping for another 2 years so /shrug.

Now to see how much they charge me for shipping in 2 months

Not as much as they’re charging me if I do back it..

I guess Swamp Thing was the last free mini stretch goal.
The next one is a bit for all the extras (we will probably be given that even if we don’t reach it right?)

You always get the last revealed SG as a freebie even if it doesn't hit the unlock amount by the end. Also, the box is always the last big SG, with a couple of cheap throwaways planned if it goes crazy: Marvel got ID cards (just the cards) to use Multiple Man as a zombie hero, White Death got Michelle Yeoh from Everything Everywhere, Old West got a few extras of the already unlocked special zombies.

Stretch Goals for a CMON games are pretty obviously pre-planned out, they just adjust the dollar amount to match how the campaign is doing to make sure a new one gets hit basically every day. Drives interest and keeps the campaign out of the doldrums that most hit after a few days.

I'm in for the base game only, and will probably add Unkillables for Deathstroke in the PM. Annoyingly all of the sets only have 1 or 2 heroes I want, then a bunch of chaff I don't want

This is where I am at as well all of the expansions have 1 or 2 bits I might be interested in but they've spread things out so much I'm just not bothered beyond the base pledge, Arkham Asylum gets closest so I might add that in the PM but even that's a retail release that will probably end up cheaper from an online retailer.

The box will be added whether it makes the goal or not there's enough time left and the total is rising fast enough that here might be time for another SG as well.

Well I’ve just pledged a dollar.
Will decide in a few months.
But base game seems the way, good value for content, but will depend what that tax and shipping comes out to at the exchange rates at the time I suppose.
Arkham And Batfamily look like the ones I’d get if I went further.
Lanterns is cool too but less value I guess.

What do the base and expansions retail at normally compared to KS price.
I’ll skip the KS exclusive boxes as they aren’t enough.

But the $60 dollar add, is that a lot cheaper than what it would be on release (it’s only a couple KS exclusives in those after all..)

Also, you can get so many of these characters just 3D printed so the price has to be good especially if it never ends up seeing much play..

Using White Death as an example as it's the latest

Base Game £110 RRP discounted to £88
Eternal Empire KS $45 plus VAT @20% $9 = $54 (£43) RRP £50 discounted to £40
TMNT KS $50 plus VAT @20% $10 = $60 (£47.50) RRP £60 discounted to £48

A $60 add on is really $72 (£57) when UK VAT is added. Probably £70 RRP but £56 discounted. (there's no direct comparison as this is the first ZC KS with a $60 expansion - Rio Z is £66 RRP but is retail only).

The weight of those will also add a bit to the shipping so that needs to be factored in as well. So you might break even with or pay a little more on KS but end up with a KS exclusive extra mini or 2.

Yeah it’s a tough one.

Obviously base game, even if breaking even, it’s like 64 extra characters and cards.
So it’s a lot extra in that.

Well that shows me, what I know. SG after the box is Doomsday, which is actually pretty cool. I wonder why they left that one for after the box

Well overall good. It’ll all be on that pledge manager for me as to what I end up doing

It just missed Doomsday.
Would have preferred Doomsday instead of the Mother Box upgrade.

The Stony Shore pillagers look like they will be very useful general bandits in addition to whatever benefit they bring to the best tabletop game out there (ASOIAF)

For some reason the Baratheon Halberds poses are awkward to my eye.

Giants look great. They should really bolster Mag The Mighty lists.

Umber Ravagers look cool, but I think I'll paint the horse armor as leather.

He should be in this one as a 19-20 year old.

Really looking forward to ASOIAF Tactics, I'm kind of surprised its crowdfunding is so early in the year though. Not that it's a bad thing, I just thought there was going to be a bit more build up to it.

The cynic in me wants to think that they're changing the time period so you can't use your existing minis. Regardless, since that doesn't really affect me much with my small handful of figs for RPGs, my interest is piqued.
