Although he's been in rigorous 'stealth' training for a couple of months now, its probably a good idea to officially announce that BrookM is now part of our highly international team of moderators, so feel free to welcome him to that role if you are so inclined!

Welcome, BrookM. So how does the Dakka Moderation Tables look like? Is one D100 enough or does it require more dice than this .
(edit: not a comment on BrookM's moderation style of course, just a joke on Dakka's moderation style in general)

It's not a D100, it's a D1, and the result is always "baned".

Of course BrookM needed to become a mod. After losing a certain thread in the DCM forums, posting mod warnings in the OT section will probably be enough to keep BrookM's average post-count-per-day numbers up.

That's not my experience, some stuff I thought would get me in trouble were apparently no problem, while other stuff that seem perfectly innocuous got me in trouble so .

Skin colour and gender are not factors that are at all considered when new moderators are chosen... Because we don't have that information, and because those factors have no bearing on the job anyway. If the team is largely white and male, that's purely a side effect of the forum's user base.

Just to clarify, those are art commissions done by others, even says so in the description of each gallery entry. Or does that make things even worse?

Ah! And to also clarify, mods don't get wings. Ask any other member of these outstanding forums and they will all say the same thing: Jackboots and a hammer.

I always thought Mods were the ones that we lorded over, after all, the mods have to clean up all the poop we fling and leave around.
