Not really, no. Crucible of Retribution and Open Cards recommend 32 mm bases for objective tokens and such, so that would most likely be just fine.

Those are indeed lovely, winterdyne.
For the first time since forever, I've also gotten some paint on my Cerastoi.
Just transfers, battle damage and bases to go before these eight are set to get blasted to smithereens by annoyed titans!

Been a while since I posted - here’s a couple of reaver chassis I’m working on. Just need to get some decent bases for them and, of course, weapons

Vallejo Charred Brown base, 1-2 lighter blends on edges and a good wash with translucent Burnt Umber as well as Nuln Oil.

I like the Game Color series, some bottles are years old and still work fine. The Burnt Umber, my current favorite for liquid talent over Agrax, is from their Model Air series and has a nice consistency for washing or glazing without diluting.

Thanks guys!
Now that I have like twenty knights painted or something, they probably need a name for their household. Something tragic and sorrowful like their titan masters', whose uncaring bidding they must serve. Lacrimae, Tribulatio, something like that.
Keep it up, zedmeister, they're looking nice and minty

The paint scheme is awesome, it was mostly the blue/cyan and gold that reminded me of the beer. Is it a custom legio?

Thanks bud. They're actually Legio Krytos. Didn't like the washed out green in the paint schemes and tried to match mine closer to the colour plates in Titandeath. Hopefully, they'll see some much improved rules as they're pretty much bottom of the pile for Legio strength. Blowing away buildings is fun though...

Earthbreaker missiles are great though, especially on Reavers that can snipe Quake shenanigans all over the place. When Titandeath came out, one of my favourite tactics was to run Krytos Venators with a Gatling / Melta / Apoc leader, who could then either blast with the Melta if the targets the Hounds stripped were in sight or hit them with the Earthbreaker from anywhere on the table to bind them in place for other wings of the force to deal with.
Their "we don't care about Dangerous Terrain" stratagem can also be nice, if you know your fellows like to run Scatterable Mines a lot.

I do like Earthbreakers, but the single shot with a Reaver I always saw as a problem especially with my ability to always roll low. Though, last time, I did end up with a lucky Quake hit that knocked an offending Warlord direct into the arc of my Warlord with paired gatling blasters... I didn't consider firing off quake with the Venator free shot when blowing out shields. Nice way to slap them about a bit.
Must be nearly a year since I last played. Bloody lockdown...

Single shot is a bit iffy, sure, but you only need to hit with Quake to have an effect. You can't smack people around, though, they only have Quake but not Concussive like the Mori would.

Got a pack each and they're pretty similar to the plastic knights in how they fit together. Cleanup is comparable as well. The cabling from the weapon to the Knight's reactor was a bit fiddly and one of the Magæra's needed the old hot water treatment to fit but otherwise fine. In fact, the Graviton Gun and Plasma Fusil mounts are a lot sturdier than the plastics.

Nice work. I love the Ordinatus and think they are a good candidate for an addition to the game and am hopeful Forgeworld will put them out. For rules, they could be largely like Knights (in a detachment) but with some sort of simple plasma management. The dispersion shield is a bit different and should diminish as the game goes on. So, turn 1 is 2+, 2 is 3+, 3 is 4+ and so on until a minimum of 5+ is reached. For the weapons, the Belicosa we know. No idea on how you'd replicate the Sonic Disruptor - it's stupidly destructive in 30k.

I think the addition of crawlers to the game should come with a new set of turning templates for the “short edge” of the oval bases so that they can be aligned along the long axis and moved that way. It would change the tactical considerations for them significantly with very little additional rules baggage.

Traditionally, in Epic they had void shields like titans. A minoris gun, like the Sonic Destroyer here, would probably be comparable to a Mori cannon. On a bigger majoris engine, the Sonic Disruptor exceeds the capabilities of Warlord level guns for the most part.

Originally, when the Ordinatus were first released back in Epic: Space Marine/Titan Legions they had an unmodifiable 1+ save that degraded by turns. Supposedly a combination of the void shield and power field technologies.
As for Majoris engines… yes, they were capable of mounting Imperator-grade weapon systems, or dismounted naval cannon. Only one each, though.
