That’s a joke. It’s a purple light shining on the model. That response by GW is not suggesting some new paint line. It would be pretty concrete thinking to make that connection.

I hope it's colourshift paints. I've been toying with getting the greenstuff world ones for an age now. If GW come out with some, it'll be easier to pick a couple up for testing some things.

That is a possibility too. They could just be poking fun.
Its not as if they haven't before. Remember the Sisters of Ba-er, Silence thing?

If they do mean color shifting, then it might be a chromaflair paint. Though that's usually iridescent.

Whats the point of one paint that is one colour when wet and other when dry?

Hilarity. Imagine someone paints their Khornates red and the paint dries to a pink finish.

That is a good question...I don't know. That is one possible way of reading that statement.
Marketing ploy, I guess? I mean, what's the point of a pet rock? You won't believe the crap people managed to sell as a fad.

I'm not sure how you could interpret "Once it's dry" as " whilst drying" though.

I bought one of those, but I think I'm too dumb to use it.

Might need some more experimenting, sometime...

I'd also like to see the name represented - Keeper of Secrets - how do you represent that in the model and the rules? I'd like to see something in diaphanous robes and veils, soft leather and silk and velvet fabric, gemstones and the like.

I’m also surprised at the amount of comments on the reversed hind legs of the fiends; I can’t be the only one who owns copies of the metal/finecast ones. The rear legs on those are reversed as well. They look just like these.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

It's been a long while since Slaanesh was the centre of attention and a very long while since they had any new models. So its no surprise that the reverse leg design slipped passed peoples notice, esp considering that there's only 1 post in resin from the original 3 metal poses.

Also with the more bestial legs the reverse hind leg design didn't show up as strongly as now it has more human style legs

It slipped past Reddit, they completely denied the existence of it and seem to think this Fiend is replacing the second gen ones from the mid nineties...

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but did anyone else notice the "XXXX" just before the Seeker was shown? At the 1.34 mark? Nice little Easter Egg.

How so? Looks like a generic reel synchronization frame like all the rest.

Not all the frames are generic. I don’t think it is an accident each features a prominent “SIX”.

Didn't catch that, thanks. But that still doesn't explain how 4 X's is an easter egg.

I could be wrong here so feel free to chastise but 'naughty' things are generally referred to as XXX. XXXX is one more X than that. Super naughty!

There's also this; Definition of XXXX - Used as a humorously euphemistic substitute for a four-letter swear word (usually 'feth') in "not to give a XXXX" and variants: no.

I realy hope this realm of chaos release includes Slaagors and the return of Khorgors. They really hyped these guys up in the Beasts of Chaos book, and would be great to see them get the 40k/AoS treatment like the Tzaangors. But I also got a feeling this may just be a pure demon release.

It's quite strange that they hyped up Pestigors, Slaangors, and Khorngors in the 40k fluff for the launch of 8th but no sign of them until this Beasts book which just lets you make Gors.

Now just gotta wait for someone to leak the Keeper of Secrets and other things that may or may not be coming for Slaanesh.

My main hope is that Slaanesh gets as much love as Tzeentch and Nurgle have gotten over the past couple years. Like holy crap I'm so sick of Nurgle. They got...

New Death Guard + Mortarion
New Nurgle Daemons for 40k and AoS
Nurgle Mortals for AoS
Gellerpox from Rogue Trader
Nurgle Terrain
Box sets for both 40k and AoS including many Easy to Build kits

And some of those releases took multiple months to complete, which is saying a lot when it comes to GW's new breakneck pace of releases.

If Slaanesh gets even HALF of that sort of attention, I'll be incredibly pleased.

Well Tzeentch got a lot except they didn't get as many new characters for AOS and Khorne got a bunch of new stuff for AOS being the token bad guys for the first release.

Fiends
Herald of Slaanesh

AoS
Low-level Slaaneshi mortals (like Kairics and Bloodreavers)

And... plastic Flesh Hounds. Those aren't Slaanesh, but this is meant to be a Khorne v Slaanesh box, so fingers crossed!
