Ogre breasts or not having options to kit them with katzbalgers and messers(kreigsmessers would also be great too) is a must have for landsknechets. I mean if they do not have messers are they German, and therefoe are they Landsknechts at all?

Theres not many scifi or fantasy armies where the army builder sets would look cool. They are more of an anomaly, usable for stuff like napoleonic and early modern warfare... maybe stuff like sarist phalanxs, some roman formations... skeletons, if you have them in the "all acting like puppets" ala TW:W it could work but with chaotic groups like goblins I don't think it would look good.
I agree, but you could mix the AB sets with miniatures from other compatible ranges with more variety. Presumably they'll be aiming for compatibility with other ranges, many (most?) gamers will be wanting to add the command type figures that don't come with AB.

I mean... I don't want to spoiler anyone but in the Banner Saga a baby carrier makes for a big emotional twist in the story.

I think their Army Builder sets should stay in their historical ranges. AB units make sense for block formations where a lot of the models are hidden inside the formation especially for ancient armies with shields blocking a lot of torso details. A plastic kit for a Roman testudo formation would be awesome. All of the historical kits I’ve seen for phalanx type formations whether it’s Greek phalanxes or Spanish teacups are basically monopose models already. Marching AB units are probably best left in Napoleonics and other contemporary conflicts where professional armies moved in formations as opposed to dark age mobs of warriors. Although a kit with head options to cover various dark age factions in a shield wall formation with shields tight against the body covering the majority of the model would be useful.
If you want them to cover fantasy I think head options in historical kits could work ok. Put helmeted ork heads in a Roman kit for more civilized orks or put elf heads in a hoplite phalanx kit. Just my $0.02.

They could work well for some fantasy armies. Think hordes of Skeletons advancing in lock-step, or Elven spearmen standing waiting to be charged.
Even the likes of goblins could work with six bodies and a choice of heads. Particularly if they were compatible with metal from another company (or other normal WA sets) which you could mix in with them. If done well it could provide a way to build horde armies cheaply.

I always thought some fantasy armies, like elves for example, looked good with identical sculpts, since they would be wearing uniforms which would all be identical, and be disciplined and drilled so that they would move in unison.

Our Next Two Releases! Eisenkern Panzerjäger and Late Roman Legionaries (1): Lorica Hamata will be going up for pre-order soon. We also wanted to update you on some of the other sets that are on their way:
1. WW1/2 French, Cannon Fodder, and Goblins will be finished within the next two weeks
2. Panzer Lehr will be entering tooling soon
3. Aztecs and Goths are awaiting a final layout
4. Conquistadors are waiting on the file splits and layout for a new set that will occupy 1/2 of one of their molds. This set is an unannounced 19th century one which we'll reveal once the layouts are finished
5. The Boxers and Afghan Cavalry are finishing their frame layout
6. Three new 20th century sets are almost ready for file prep
We'll leave it at that. Suffice to say there are a few other things in the mix at varying levels of completion including more AB sets (and our first ancient ones), more Death Fields, more Classic Fantasy, and many more historical sets.

I am actually happy to answer this, as I helped with that kit. Its currently in the pipeline but it is a little ways off. There were a few issues with the design that needed to be addressed.

A good while? That depends on your definition of the phrase.

My third choice was Segmentata armor in the hopes that there might be some Sci fi options. Everyone knows Space Romans wear that particular armor.

Incorrect! "Meus" should be in the 1st Person Accusative as you are the subject of the sentence. So "Quod nomen tibi est. Meu m nomen Lord Marcus est." Placing the verb at the end is considered proper Classical form.
Now write it out one hundred times.
EDIT: As for the poll, Lorica Segmentata as it is a Classic look, then Lorica Squamata, and Saxons, for the Battle of Mons Badonicus. [According to some accounts, this was won by King Arthur. Yes, THE King Arthur.]
