The master artisans over at McFarlane Toys have been hard at work creating the next wave of Warhammer 40,000 action figures. What’s more, we can officially reveal their two latest offerings right here, right now!
First up is a Sister of Battle, who was modelled after the heroic star of the action-packed Warhammer 40,000 cinematic trailer. Here she is in all her glory.
This articulated action figure is painted in the colours of the Order of Our Martyred Lady, and her ornate armour and accoutrements have been rendered in incredible detail. Just look at the texture on the fabric of her tabard!
Next up is a xenos offering, inspired by the antagonists of the cinematic trailer – the Necrons.
This Necron Warrior is an Artist’s Proof edition, meaning that it’s the same design as the original Necron Warrior, but comes unpainted. This will leave you free to paint it up in the colours of any dynasty you choose – one of the six featured in the upcoming codex or another of your own creation.
Both of these amazing action figures will launch early next year. The Sister of Battle will be available on games-workshop.com and all McFarlane Toys partnered shops, while the Artist’s Proof Necron Warrior will be exclusive to Walmart. In the meantime, you can buy the first wave of McFarlane action figures – including the pre-painted Necron Warrior – on our webstore from Saturday the 10th of October.

Seems odd that the unpainted Necron is a Walmart exclusive, that seems like something that's going to be of more interest to hobbyists rather than Walmart shoppers. (Guess that's only in the US though)

Amazon is still stubbornly refusing to tell me they're cancelling my order, its now changed to "we are trying to obtain the item" and apologising for the delay.

Are the artist's proof version better than repainting an already painted version?
How well would paint stick on the painted and artist proof version?
I may want to get one to paint with my Ebony Lance's color scheme.

It's a hand painted resin prototype and not indicative of the final product.

They are also promising add ons for purchase after (if) it is funded and shipped, why they are not stretch goals? No idea. But current stretch goals are skull topped cane, and open and closed power fist. Shipping expected July 2021.

Oh, cruel fate!
Well noodles are cheap and its good to get into shape before winter and the Christmas meals.
Not when you’ve suddenly, inexplicably landed a super hot Lass it’s not!
This is not the complication you think! See instead of noodles adopt lettuce and announce its a move toward healthier lifestyle that you're experimenting with. Cheaper food and impresses the ladies.
The other option is organ donation, but this isn't a whole brand new army though. It might be too extreme! Then again you have stated necrons recently.

No way am I starting back up collecting 12 inch figures again. I mean really if this is 200USD just think about how much a Ork or a Marine would cost. 1/12th is about as big as I would want.

Overread said organ donation, not YOUR organ donation.
I mean, I'd expect a famous painboy to get the hint .

Oh, cruel fate!
Couldn’t you set this month’s budget aside for Heroquest and next month’s for the officer? You’ve got til the middle of next month or so before the funds come due.

It's stated to be based on the Sister in the 9th trailer and her armour is all black; in fact I'm not entirely convinced she has any fleur-de-lys there.

This months budget went on gas, electric and water bills, all of which arrived on the same day. Then my flatmate stiffed me on £130 of his rent.
