He meant anniversary model, this one:

And yeah, at this point it's comical how all the different weapon options on primaris are going to variant models, not HQs where they could actually be useful...

No, this is 30th anniversary of something something Sarge model. 500th was Leftenant, yes. They made so many of these it's hard to keep track of which anniversary exactly they all were.

I want that Sergeant for my Crimson Fists. The decapitated Ork head fits perfectly with my army.

Nice model. I will probably get one. I like the head. Makes a change from the generic square jaw/old beard, bald/buzz cut, shout/stern face space marine heads.

A diorama of that marine and Sly Marbo just sort of hanging out swapping anecdotes after a battle would look cool, I think.

Perhaps have them both looking at the 40k 25th anniversary Crimson Fist captain with ork head; "look at that try-hard. why is he waving it about?"

ohh right, I never did get that, hopefully they'll not phase it out just yet. not that it matters. I prefer a rifle/sword combo anyway.

I like the battle damage on the marine but the Ork feels a little derpy. Wasn't there a SCE with an Orc on his base recently enough too?

You could always fill the detail in, although that Aquila might be difficult to fix.

I would submit the Astro/tele-path from combat arena, with the right paint job the eye on her chest would look like a Horus Eye and Ben a great match partner.

This is one of the reasons that I've more or less given up on 40K. The already pathological focus on Space Marines has only gotten worse with the new Super-Duper-Uber-Primaris Space Marines.

15% larger of the exact g-d-damn thing again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again...

...is still incredibly repetitive and boring. GW has a huge and rich and diverse IP. Why ANOTHER SM Sargeant?

It's what the public want. We can reasonably infer that, because they outsell ever other line offered in 40k.

Well.... that, but also the fact that if you have a million customers that want stuff and you call one of the minis "Limited" they sell out faster at higher prices.

You forgot to include the speech bubble for the female player. What is she saying? Well, nothing but she moans loudly every time she hits the ball courtesy of Monica Seles.

At this stage 90% of 40k players are marine players who play other marine players. The last Eldar player died of old age five years ago.

It is a Space Marine because Space Marines sell. And before anyone says that's because none of the other armies get a chance, there was the lady Commissar model a few months back. My store and the other stores I frequent still has them. They started with ten of them and couldn't move them. You can STILL find the Santa White Dwarf even though he was limited like two years ago. Same with Slambo. Sly Marbo, who is a meme character with tons of Internet appeal, still available at some stores.

The SM Lieutenant with the Stalker Bolt Rifle? He sold out in an hour at the store I go to. Space Marines sell. They have made other limited models. They do not. Get over it.

Just to correct this, Severina Raine was never a limited model She's a regular stock item and not even a direct exclusive which is why you can still find her without issus. As is Marbo i believe. And that Stormcast is gorgeous. Gonna need a couple of her at least.

Space Marines are their top selling army for their top selling game. if they want to release a model that the most number of their customers might find a use for then yes it will be a space marine
