I've gone for the new Jain Zar. I think my decision was influenced by the fact that I've just been painting it, because it's amazing in the flesh, as it were. It's really dynamic, full of movement, and rather beautiful.

GW's version of this poll lists Syll'Esske as well. It was a toss up for me between that model and the Repulsor Executioner.

The Slaanesh stuff was likely excluded from this poll on the grounds that it's not strictly 40k, and they get sold in AoS boxes. The GW poll includes ALL their games, even the Boxes Games, whereas this poll is just 40k.

I mean, Abaddon is the best model of the year. I bought him and I don't even play CSM.
Buuuut, I voted Iron Father Feirros, because no one else probably will due to all the hate and there's like 4 other people in the world that actually like IH before their supplement dropped.
Seriously, though, that model is great. Awesome conversion fodder as well.

I wouldn't have voted for him as best of the year, but I do really like that model. I plan to use him whenever I upgrade a Techmarine with the F&F strats.
