I like it. A nice simply mini, not overwrought with details, but not lacking either. And most importantly not in a stupid fething pose.

New barahdhur (sp) and hill trolls. What are the chances they are plastic?

Is this an appropriate time to use "we are so back"? Also was not expecting half of that, let alone a Bhurdur redo.

Not a fan of the men of Carn Dum. The details are nicely done, but they look far to high-fantasy for LotR IMO with their exposed torsos yet heavily furred trousers. They are supposed to be from a northern, mountainous region, why are they half naked? It isn't AoS of WFB.

Really like the Hill Trolls and I also like how the werewolves take design cues from the wargs. The Carn Dum leader looks too much like a chaos marauder imo, less exaggerated muscles and so on would be better. If I see this in my local shop I will likely pick it up though- Angmar is a fascinating bit of the history of Middle Earth.

My test is always "does this look like it would appear in the films?" and the answer for them is a big fat nope.

I do like everything else at least, and the hill trolls are absolutely fantastic sculpts with a studio paintjob to match. I'm so glad there's a new character for the Rangers too.

Yeah, some sculpts look more Aos than Lotr but... who cares! So many new models for this long awaited supplement!

They look like they could appear in the Hobbit though. Such disappointing films.

I liked the men of Carn Dûm more when they were just different painted Warriors of the Dead - the new look like some Amish in a Conan movie.

I don’t play or collect these models, but I did pick up Bhurdur years ago because he looked cool
