Honestly, I've paid almost no attention to all the various media things GW announced in the last months. I lived through the long winter where GW video games were 80% trash and animated endeavors awkward and dated, principally because the Dub was licensing their IP to the lowest bidder. Then yesterday we see these designs and bam, I'm converted. Calli looks great with those Batman Beyond angles, the still with the old savant-whatever looks real solid (reminiscent of the Castlevania series, which is both good and bad). Dig the variety of the other peeps, and happy this is an Inquisitor series (right?) so we can keep the tone more horrific and the power level mid-tier and keep marines the WTF-level they should be, in particular chaos ones *crosses some body parts*

There was an article in the December 2019 White Dwarf all about how to pronounce some of the common words seen in 40K and AoS. My favorite...
Khorne is simply ‘Korn’ or, in one memorable game in which I played as a minion of the Blood God and I failed to spill any blood at all, Quorn. Some people pronounce this ‘Crone’, though that’s really more Morai-Heg’s business.

Warhammer 40k TV Show to Release in Black and White So Viewers Can Color It to Their Liking
Warhammer 40,000 showrunner Frank Spotnitz revealed today that the upcoming television show will be released in black and white so fans can color it themselves.
“When you tackle a franchise as large as Warhammer you have to be very cognizant of the fans,” Spotnitz said. “They’ve been with this series for years and invested a lot of their own time and money into it. They love the lore. They love the setting. They love the strategy. But what do they love above all?”
“Above all else, Warhammer is about coloring.”
Spotnitz gave a demonstration of the technology developed by Wizards of the Coast to enable coloring of TV.
“You’re going to have access to all of the brushes and colors you’ve loved using on your miniatures,” Spotnitz continued. “But if you don’t want to subscribe to our service, we’re also offering a bunch of markers you can use to just draw all over your TV.”
When asked about how fans would feel about having to pay twice for a TV show, Spotnitz said he was confident they would be interested.
“Look, I don’t think we have to worry about what these fans will be willing to pay. If you’ve seen some of their setups then you know these guys love to shell out the dough for this stuff,” he explained. “Honestly, it saves us a bunch of money on set and costume design. We can’t wait to see what the fans come up with, and WOTC is very excited for this opportunity to move digital merchandise. It’s a win win for everyone.”
As of press time, Wizards of the Coast announced they were also creating a Dungeons and Dragons TV show, allowing viewers to submit scripts so they roleplay the story themselves.

Ha. I used to call him Crone. I think I finally got the message after all the Corn Flake jokes. Though I still call Tzeentch "Tuh-zeech", not "Zeech" like other people. And "Sluh-nesh" not "Sla-nesh"

For a short time I considered Khorne to be like some Russian pronunciation with a silent K, so Horn “Honk Honk” .

This is just outside any context of reality that I'm familiar with.
Maybe they're right and people will pay for an unfinished show that they can color in themselves, but it seems like lazy cost cutting to me. (And frankly they still need to do set and costume design, except that have to make it work with any color palette, which seems like MORE work and costs.
Really though. "Its about coloring" is a quote that needs to haunt someone's career.
Though a show with no scripts so viewers can 'roleplay' their own D&D TV show is even worse.

And Khan is apparently pronounced Karn in whatever hellhole GW staff lives. It has to be a typo, unless british english is even further gone than I expected and needs a trip to the farm.

After the skylanders, amiibos and whatever, the idea that people will by junk to 'interact' with their TV doesn't seem like satire. And I can remember shifting color palettes on old analog TVs as a kid, so doing it on digital ones seems trivial. (Admittedly that was the whole picture and not individual bits, but still...)
I tend not to bother with people's links- it was close enough in time to the official reveals about the animation that I took it as more of the same. And the D&D thing just struck me as Wizards trying to cash in on the success of various D&D Twitch/Youtube shows, and failing at it in their typically awkward way.

If you click on the producer tab on IMDB you will get a synopsis of the films in development, so i can confirm (sadly) that none of these are related to GW.
Emperor's Children is a comedy about 30yo something males and college reunion, Iron warriors is about a biker gang and Dark Angels is about a serial killer.
