Character wearing coat will took more space on the sprue, look at skitarii ranger.

Skitarii Rangers only take up as much space as they do because they are not two pieces--it's three at least. Two torso halves and then the legs separate.

Skitarii Rangers also have 10 unique sculpts and 30 weapons on a sprue that costs 1€ more than Delaques.

Kan was probably referring to the fact they have been included in literally every AdMech bundle deal ever made. I had 20 before I even started buying AdMech (Kill Team and Forgebane)

The skitarii kit is one of the best kits they've ever made. I took the left over carbines/rifles I had and made 20 more skitarii using some free perry minis I got.

I hope the new delaque stuff sprue is as packed as both the regular & skitarii one.

I'm hoping that they will bring out more of the upgrade kits quickly, especially the delaque one alongside the house of shadows book. FW is out of stock on one of their upgrade sets, and no longer available on the other.

I can’t imagine them sculpting each set separately, so I imagine they’re all done, and possibly even cast up awaiting release.

If I’m right (never guaranteed) hopefully it won’t be terribly long. But staggering the releases encourages the sale of specific gangs.

I mean, if only two gangs sell, they don't have to relase anything for the other ones...

Is it confirmed the upgrade will be sold separately?

The IG upgrade is suppossed to be included in the main box going forward (no word on what that does to prices).

The IG upgrade is supposed to be sold separately and also be packaged in Cadian Shock Troop boxes going forward, since they're retiring the box.

You could have looked on the webstore, by the by, to see what that does to prices. The Brood Brothers Squad retails for $45(which I explicitly called out as this being parallel to) is a box of Cadians($36) with the GSC upgrade frame($12.50 retail) and a Heavy Weapons Team(no longer sold individually) included. Difference is $9--which is how much HWT single box sets went for, meaning you get the upgrade frame effectively free.

Anyways:
Here's the Escher weapons+upgrades for preorder
Here's Goliath

They're $25, which is the Marine prices. I'm expecting the Cadian upgrades at $15 or so.

Thanks.

Gotta say $25 is a lot of dollars for a weapon sprue.

It's the same sprue, doubled up...and a hell of a lot better priced than the FW versions.

Being 2 sprues, it's easy to sell on the 2nd one.
Which is hassle, and I'd have preferred an Escher/Goliath set, with a sprue of each. It'd have been easier to pass on the 'other' sprue, or keep both if you bought the N17 box.

As for the IG upgrade, I stopped buying the infantry box early on, due to having just too many arms and heads. I bought the 5-man press-fix models to pad out the units. There're too many bits taking up space in the infantry box after the first couple you buy, as you get them in every IG bundle they release. The special weapons are in the command squad box anyway, and you get more bodies in that.
I'll buy one upgrade sprue, just for the heads and sniper rifle.

I doubt a noble would be interested in dressing like the filthy Hoi Polloi

But then how would anyone know who she is?
Also, I’m pretty sure she lost the arm on the way out the door from from her residence in the Spire. She’s certainly had the replacement long enough to “git gud” with it.

The rather lovely art has the (her?) hand hanging from the belt but not the model?

It is a good model though

Lovely model, but she'll need some corrective surgery on the torso.

You know, so that her ribcage does not bump against the pelvis.

She looks... like a resin model?

Argh! What happened to her waist and how does her left leg articulate?
I hope they show another angle soon. This could be such a cool mini.

I think she is sort of popping a squat based on the angle of her left foot. Like she would be about to click her heels if she wasn't on the tactical rock:

Her legs are just super happy that her torso is pointing at scum, instead of rattling about on her pelvis?

Sure, you could say she's doing a squat.

Or... someone just messed up her proportions.

Now granted, fixing the slip up would make her a giantess, but hey, I hear extremely large noblewomen are all the rage these days.

Some of us have shorter than average torsos in relation to the rest of the body, it's quite nice to feel represented in a model

I love the whole aesthetic, looks brill.

The back leg could also be cybernetic and have the dog type leg that hinges backwards (forgot the term), which might explain the reason it looks out of line with the body.
