It was either that or actually spend the time and effort on them they deserve - like all the various Marine Chapters who ALL started with exactly the same units.
The FW Custodes Codex has far more actually unique units than any Marine dex (not just a different name) and the Sisters could be the same.

I gotta agree, i don't like the Custodes model. the only reason id have gotten either was for Aleya just to get an SoS HQ, but really, they should have already made generic ones a long time ago.
still. I saw the leak for their rules and I was really bothered by them using "talons of the emperor" as their deployment rule and forcing them to be used together. and now i see this, that the Talons are reforming.
ABOUT TIME! now how far out is it? at least 2 books.

Valerian's head looks like a Mad Max reject. I like the rest of the model, though.
Aleya is just fine.
You know, he looks more like the original Dune's Feyd Rautha (Sting). Terrifying.

Any Custodes player who built Sagittarum Guard has tons of spare helmeted heads too. I already have Jenetia Krole painted up too - so I'm ready if SoS get a generic HQ option.
I'll be waiting to see if I actually need them before picking them up though - not particularly inspired by either model.

Well, as of the Index they are. Don't know about the old lore and how the Imperium was organized back then, but then again, considering they helped run Black Ships it makes sense.

Just realized that WD #451 has a photo on the back with a group of Primaris Space Wolves surrounded by Orks. And the guy in the center seems to be calling something or someone Buzz Lightyear style on his wrist.

Maybe. But if there's something coming for sister of silence based on SOB success(or lack of) then result of that would be in 2021 or 2022 earliest. The PA rules for sister of silence are 100% unrelated to sales or lack of sales of sisters of battle.
