The bottom right got a lot of love in the KS comments. I'm partial to the bottom left or top right personally, but it's like choosing chocolate or peanut butter at this point

Yeah, honestly it is kinda hard to go wrong, just what you like. Sorry for the quietness folks, as we all know life has become a bit complicated with this pandemic, with California being home to many people involved in the project, there is a lot to deal with here. Thanks for your continued comments and support!

Been away playing in tournament so missed the rerelease but have backed again. Its all looking so good I am not sure I can stick to just the few themes I was after!
Did I just pass over it or is there no longer an option for later shipping?
Hope everyone at SWM stays safe and well.

I know where part of my stimulus check is going. To stimulate SWM...those Fleur de lese (or however its spelled) scream sisters.

I know we were all jumping in no matter what, but I can't help but think this is the worst worldwide climate for a Kickstarter right now =/. Just bad luck!

The funding total is great so far, but I'd like to see those backer numbers climb up for such a revolutionary product!!

Yeah, not gonna lie, it's a tough time for everyone and a lot of people are losing their jobs and wondering how they are gonna get by in a few months. Plenty of distractions at home too even for those of us lucky enough to not be too professionally impacted -

That being said, they are gonna stay the course and just continue putting out the best stuff they can in the meantime. I am looking at the Zombicide stuff right now, and considering making an Alt Desert Mesa modded into a snow/arctic theme. There is still time to go, and our partners will start kicking in eyes soon, so steady as she goes. Honestly it's hard to know what to expect out of the market these days, but I don't see that changing anytime in the near future. First and foremost just hoping everyone is doing alright, has enough to eat and something to wipe their bums with and a path to getting their bills paid!

We will be here!

I love the idea of a snow theme, it’s something I’ve always been intimidated by.

Yeah, suddenly the idea of backing a KS is a... risky proposition. I'm not sure for how long will I keep my job, as things are going, and there's the fear that we well be needing to stay put for far longer than the government has let go so far, so... well, it's not exactly the greatest time.

And I was very much looking forward to it :(

I've been quiet on the update front due to some massive changes in the world that you might have seen in the news. As a result of COVID-19 it was necessary to focus my attention on furloughing my employees, and working with legal/accounting/etc. to ensure that we would be able to have jobs for my team when the shelter in place is lifted. A shout out to our Production Manager Richard (8 of 10 years with us), Lindsey (7 years), Nolan (5 years), Michael (1 year), and Sean (new seasonal) who make up the entire SWM team -- we're a very small company -- and are now joining so many others in uncharted waters.

The good news is that I will be able to go into the warehouse soon with my wife, son, and friend sheltering with us in tow. We will be able to keep SWM up and running so that hobbyists still get orders, and my team should all have jobs waiting. We're keeping in touch as well in case anyone gets into a tight spot.

So my apologies for losing focus on the KS for a couple of days. I'm back at the keyboard again with my eyes on this. I've done everything I can at this point on the other fronts, and feel much better about the situation than I did on Friday.

Ya know, I'm already joining the kickstarter for WAY too many base styles, but I'd KILL to see some Titanicus scale themed bases. Basically just scale down the street bases, add some rubble, whatever fits within the limited relief level of detail. Or better yet, use this tech to build a game board for Titanicus, with streets and stuff in individual small tiles that can be added together. Okay that might be a stretch, but MAN I'm really curious about the applications of the "tech" Secret Weapon is using here!

That would be fantastic!

We are already exploring ideas for Titanicus (which I desperately want to play!) and MajorTom has pointed out that themes like Martian Menace have no scale references.

I'm totally in on this idea.

COVID-19 UPDATE
Secret Weapon Miniatures, Inc.
Sacramento, CA
26-March-2020

Good news! As one of the owners of Secret Weapon I am allowed to return to my warehouse to resume essential operations. In order to have enough hands to actually get orders out my household - my wife, son, and our friend Jess who is sheltering with us - will be helping me to get your orders moving again. This will not increase our exposure vector in any significant way... and it means that Secret Weapon is officially open for business.

I am working with our corporate team (accountant, lawyer, etc.) to ensure jobs for the SWM staff when the furlough is lifted. Your continued support through these uncertain times means a lot, and I will keep you all posted on the warehouse situation as we get our processes sorted out.

These look amazing, and in better times I could see myself going in hard on these. Right now, the value of the AU$ has crashed through the floor and I have, frankly, more important things to focus my finances on than adding to the mountain of toy soliders.

I do agree with supporting people, but I already have a ton of unpainted stuff from smaller places, including SWM - and any spare funds I have right now will be supporting more local places that are on the edge of shutdown (not games stores, either)

Oh! The link on the SWM store webpage leads to the cancelled campaign - you may want to fix that while there's still time!

Hey guys,

Crazy times we live in eh!?!!?!

I did my first hobby related stuff in years, physical hobby stuff anyways yest and if felt good... but I also put in some time on the digital front and have a few new themes to show off.

I promised a few pages ago something swampy and nurgly -

And for those who like me love them some Japan...

Hope you guys are all safe and finding good ways to occupy your time. Know for many of us this insanity is far crazier than for others, if you rent, if you had a small business, on top of medical. Wishing everyone the best!

Today (5-April) at 1:00 PM Pacific (GMT-7) we're going to broadcast live for an hour to answer your questions while we speed paint some Reaper Bones figures, and add them to the bases.

Tomorrow (6-April) at 3:00 PM Pacific (GMT-7) we'll do another live broadcast while I work on detailing a Leman Russ for the NOVA Open Charitable Foundation raffles.

Let us know if there's anything you want to make sure we cover, and hopefully you'll be able to join us for one of the live broadcasts.

See you soon!

Final Days!

Busted my hump to produce some of the most requested themes, potentially still a few more, but here they are!

For those who wanted snow,

For those who wanted jungle,

For those who wanted DnD style Dungeon floors,

And finally, an update on one of the Infinity Themes, re-sized and tweaked Red Veil, this should be it if CB approves!

Hopefully a few more to come in the next little while!

Oh! And a few new pics of minis on base from Israel Sanchez!

That updated Red Veil set is lovely!

And the Dark Circuit bases with Tau on them are such a good fit

Thanks! Israel is a great painter obviously and you are right, the tau shine on the Dark Circuit bases for sure!

There are 3 more themes slated for reveal tmr during a livestrem by Secret weapon - I think those that dwell in mucky sewers or want a dirtier stone set, those who may want to hang out on a rusted battlefield wasteland and those looking for a more subdued mosaic tile set may be well pleased

Last day, hope to see you guys!

Damn...hunting grounds is great! There are officially too many choices for me...I suppose I will have to get numerous sample packs to go with my Sisters bases.

Love these designs!
