Thank you. 'Zenith' is weird.

Indeed it is. As far as I know, Teclis has been the only thing with the complete mandala present on him. Others have had parts of it.

So, heres the plan. Lion Sword and Unhelmeted option as one build, and then buy another for the chainsword and helmted look. Well played FW

Vigo. Spain.

At the end of the day, GW has made us grow bored of nearly every kind of reveal.

At the start of 8th everything was fresh and fantastic because old GW never did things like those but after 3 years of BIG REVEAL after BIG REVEAL everything is much less...

Think about it. What could they REVEAL now, that would make everyone excited and not appear underwhelming? Back in the day just a FW primarch was the sh*t. And know hes just part of a larger reveal and it is a big "meh"

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Loving the Scions of the Flame. Very different from what I imagined (flame priests) but great sculpts, lots of variety and loads of conversion potential for all sorts of uses.

So we're not doubling back to AoS or 40K. Great...

Dunno. To me, there's a sameness to their reveals. You can pretty easily predict what Games Workshop are going to release before they do it, and a lot of their newer releases almost merge together in my mind when I try to recall them. Same goes for their specialist games.

I kind of get it, the issue is they're showing some stuff that's pretty well previewed already (Bile) and the rest are dribs and drabs of a reveal. After getting edition reveals, full factions reveals, game changing stuff like mortarion etc. Showing 1-2 units from the same army over 4-5 reveals seems a bit... small in scope.

Would be better to save it until we have seen it all? Hell it's saying "more previews coming soon" on the live stream. We haven't even seen all yet people are saying "that was it?".

Guess they should just have given everything out at once 14.00 and be done with it. Just show pics and that's it

If that was the only 40k reveal that Games Workshop had for us, then I do completely agree that these previews were very disappointing. But let's wait until the end before we make judgements, everyone.

Ah yes. 40k only matters

You misunderstand me, I'm saying that if this "biggest ever reveal!" Was the first time we'd seen the lumineth range and it was the whole range, that feels substantive. Doing a unit or two every "biggest ever reveal" until you see the whole army makes it feel spread really thin.

The same is true because of the number of partial bile spoilers, the fact all of the other dark Angel's stuff for horus heresy are known etc. We're getting bits of a faction/army which feels less of a reveal.

Would you prefer if they didn't do reveals as often so that they could reveal more stuff at once?

Also, whilst I personally really don't care about the Primarchs, many people seem to consider them a big deal.

It's been confirmed on the warhammer community page that it's Custodes, Sisters of Silence, and Assassins vs DG and a new subfaction called Agents of Bile on the ruins of Cadia. I'm interested to see where that leaves the Deathwatch, SoB, Necrons and Harlequins fighting.

Also, War of the Spider is after Engine War, not the last book, like some rumors had suggested.

Sisters may not get anything since they just got their codex. I can definitely see deathwatch necrons and harlequins in one book though

Emperor Children for 40K or Slaanesh mortals for AoS would be pretty big for me, but I am evidently preaching for my church so...

Yeah. GW has habit of flat out lying on. They say "sisters will get PA release still" and it obviously means "no they won't".

Definitely feels like the previews are getting spread far too thin. We only recently had similar complaints about Psychic Awakening for the same reason. I actually think it's the sameness of their release strategy that's causing this though. Psychic Awakening in particular has been very formulaic and overall disappointing.

Maybe once you add the two reveals together? Greater than the sum of their reveals?

Darsath wrote:

Well they previewed that much like this event: A big reveal with many mysteries solved! So far... nada. Zip. Nothing. GSC players even more unhappy.

That was a poor preview in terms of content if I'm honest, some of them last year revealed way more, however, I assume a lot has been kept back, and there will be some major reveals next week.

I assume that is when the primaris bike and speeder will show up, I'll be amazed if it doesn't.
