Not totally sure to be honest, I tend to do a bit when I get home from work, have some dinner, do a bit more etc. Probably around an hour for just a normal ork boy but I'm not toally sure. I'll try and time it tomorrow! I'm aiming to keep going daily until I get 500 points done, then I might have a break, dunno!

It definitely counts. The truck looks great. You really are setting a pace. As far as the rank and file orks I have always found that I like certain of the boyz models better than others that I have painted.

I really like this project, a great way to get rid of that pile of shame! It looks like you'll have a horde finished in no time. I'm also impressed by the quality you manage to keep up with the quick pace.

Yeah, that counts and a half! It's got some nice wear and tear on it too.

The truck was mostly painted already, just needed a few bits re-doing to make it fit in with my new Boyz.

That's great loot for the orc, he will continue the fight for the greater Waaagh! Always exciting to pop in here everyday.

I didn't keep an exact time, because I wander off and do something between base coats, washes etc to let stuff dry, but I reckon it takes me about half an hour of actual painting to finish off a basic ork boy. If I was batch painting them I obviously cou;d smash them out but if I did that, I would get about 2 days in and never want to look at another ork again. I'm actually quite enjoying the process of doing 1 a day.

Great job! I really like this ork it came in the black reach starter I believe. Those orks help to break up a mob without conversions. The paint job and basing are great. Hope to see more soon.

Like a lot of people who do horde armies, a lot of my boyz are from ebay, there's definitely some Black Reach models mixed in there!

As an ork player, I really appreciate this thread. Keep at it.

You have an astounding amount of willpower. I can barely paint a model a fortnight, which doesn't bode well for the 40+ boys that are taking over my desk.

Love the grav-bike and Kommandos! The paint scheme really works for them as well.

A bit of a cheat day today, this guy was already mostly done. I repainted a few bits to tie him in with the rest of the gang, added a few more check patterns and did an entirely new base for him to match my current method. I've actually ran out of 32mm bases, so unless my hobby supplies order turns up soon, there will be further breaks from normal boyz!

Day 17

I like seeing each new orky thing! It's a nice surprise every day.

I love the vehicles, the chipping is done really well, enough to b interesting but not overwhelming.

Nice progress! The vehicles are looking sharp.

The metal chipping on the deff dread is great.
